I don`t know how many hours of conversations with John I`ve heard, or his own programs. This conversation was the most profound and beautiful and I wanna thank you both for it. And I hope for more. John is a Philosophy by himself. This was so touching and moving. Somehow transcendent. To say "thank you" is not enough.

I was gonna say the same.

John Vervaeke is this close 🤏🏼 from becoming the Jazz musician of meaning. In his early appearances I personally found him a little to rigid and technical. He must have had found some „answers“ to his own meaning crisis in the last couple of years. He’s got a whole new vibe to him. I thank both of you for this great conversation.

25 years ago, while incarcerated, I took a class called cognitive intervention ( basically it was cognitive behavioral therapy) and it was the greatest thing that could have happened to me. I've been out for 20 years and I can definitely thank that class for the fact that I have not gone back.

I've listened to hundreds of hours of Vervaeke while driving/working. Starting my own ecology of practices has been life-changing. I truly believe he is doing some of the most important work of our generation. I can't wait to hear more about the philosophical silk Road!

Walking The Philosophical Silk Road is the very thing I have been waiting to hear about, and have been putting feelers out for since completing my MA in the neo-platonic tradition, including cosmology and divination studies. I have tried to talk to many about this language for the sacred, ai have run an open philosophy group in my home town for over 6 yrs, and even with interested folk it has been SO hard to bring forth the dialogues. Thank yo SO MUCH Andre for bring this conversation into the world. I have been inspired by every conversation you have put out, but this one is so very exiting of my deepest passions!!! On fire 🔥

John is an embodiment of what he points to. Even when i have a hard time following intellectually, I feel/ sense/ manage to learn by example. He is the best kind of teacher. His excitement is contagious and his quality of innocence helps me disarm my heart and notions about the world. I was really touched by how you two connected. I honor and respect people who can do theory with people. The hidden factors or some things happened can be discovered by theory only sometimes, because other than theorists have less power when strict determination followed by very longer years of struggles. The loves could be given with cares very often subject for struggles by some other people too. This is because they are amazing people, transcendental to all of harsh conditions made to people, theory is vital in this rapidly developmental ages. The thing does not mention such as utilisations of some ancient Greek triology or things around the understanding of it, is why we have moral decisions on others harshier. The understanding to pacifiers means body challenges too, with this condition theorists can do rescue for it is amazing humanism.

There is more than even our biology's capacity to sense, in terms of information around us constantly shifting, including more platonic abstracts as well - but we tap into those via technology, and eventually via sensory substitution, expansion and addition, being able to choose what of those informational threads to weave into cognitive flow, modifying that "perception" moment to moment. With AI as well, we can use it to generalize this noise of external, into patterns of relevant meaning to humans. (Such as decoding animal or plant communication)

The definition of wisdom is effectively is the process of becoming wise through the experience of being dumb… including the process of acceptance of the information from mistakes or sin (sin defined in origin meaning to miss the mark as in archery desire to marksmanship requires to go and sin some more my son and embrace the information from mistake taken to heart definition of heart (the nucleus of every cell in the body for the purpose of upgrading the DNA (subconscious driver information) transforming the nature of your being effectively removing the attraction that put you in the interaction in the first place …. For me, JV too often descends into esoteric word salad and conceptual black holes. Here he does so less but I have to admit that, as the conversation wore on, the laced-up sneakers he wore (compared, of course, to Andre's completely un-laced bare feet) became a bit too apt a metaphor.
