Man, I commend you guys for never being scared to experiment with cutting edge tools. So many creative or STEM people don't want to disrupt their workflow and get stuck in a repetitive flow despite the possibility of leveling up their quality and efficiency if they utilized new tools, sometimes with zero or near zero downsides or learning curve. You guys are inspiring in many ways.

The lighting and Jake's hair style during the sponsor segment really makes Jake look a lot more young. I know this was posted over a year ago since now but I still think it stands. I also think it could be useful to keep in mind if you ever want to do a young Jake deepfake or something along those lines. To add on I just have to say it was a real treat getting to listen to you guys discuss physics, VFX, and fiddle all at the same time. Those are 3 of my passions lmao

2:23 Creed was not a Christian Rock Band. Singer Scott Stapp was raised in a religious family and used some of that imagery in his songwriting. But Creed was not a Christian rock band.

in a weird way, I Resent the success that the series gave you guys, not because of the series but because that's what made you popular now and not YOUR ART, the stuff iv been watching for years, since the beggining. - It's the same with Cassey Niestat he made some really cool cinematic short films with real meaning before he started his Vlog, but it was the Vlog that made him popular. - So Rather, I Resent the lay-person/Viewer that's doesn't seem to care about all the hard work you guys put into your short films and just made this one thing popular without even caring to check out your other content.

100th episode: 100 minutes of topics from a 10 by 10 grid. Top row reads like: Best/Worst/Weirdest/Hardest/Funniest/Hopes etc. and left column reads like: podcast episode/person who's been in the studio/moment at corridor/programme used/idea that didn't get made/video produced etc. Then write it out big, shoot at the squares in the grid it to decide which to discuss eg. Weirdest-Person who's been at the studio. Do as many as you can in 100 minutes. Milestone moments = time to reflect on what's been and what's next.

Niko, think about it this way, do shipping companies keep waiting and waiting to build a new ship because that new ship will be more economic, or do they build a new ship when they need it and upgrade when they can?

Also not sure about kangaroo's tearing people open (prob does happen tbh) but their tale is insanely muscular and acts like a spring n the kick can break bones, usually ribs but not too many kanagroos here in South Australia, but gotta be cautious of them drop bears they mean business!

Avisynth is pretty cool for restoration of old footage too but the learning curve is steep. I have used it for some dvds of older shows with great results though it is a little infuriating when you realize the DVD company put 0 effort and it's probably going to be the only release that show gets.

Rooster Teeth just became a meh part of MGM (now Amazon). Even though they had great success, I never got into most of their stuff personally except for RT Podcast, I liked the real people more than the products. Now that a lot of the people who were regulars on that have left, I just quit watching RT altogether. Sad to see them go. I can't even imagine trying to be creative in the squeeze of something like MGM or Amazon. I don't think Burnie ever disclosed where they were moving to, just that it was outside the US. That said, all the toxic stuff happening inside the company wasn't a good look either and a lot of the company (and Funhaus) pretty much imploded last year. Their community (and lack of support from the top) even smoked out LeVar Burton's daughter, Mica, out of the company.
