Freddie Wong would be a perfect director for action films. Your videos were incredible. I loved the scenes he put together.

Nico needs to get over himself. He's way too arrogant for someone who is so woefully, pathetically misinformed. Embarrassing.

I think if you want to capitalize on the Boston Dynamics video again, you should try to tackle a video on the average worker being replaced by AI and the overall paranoia recently about it. Something simple that a lot right now can relate to.

Quick Fact about floating-point: The bigger your value gets, the lower the precision becomes. Ranges close to zero are super high precision, while extremely large values are very low precision approximations. The beauty of it is that if you're working with very large values, you typically don't need high precision anyway. Perfect analogy in computer graphics is texture LODs: further away objects can use a lower resolution texture and you won't even notice.

38:00 - FYI, stones are part of the imperial system of measure, which originally comes from England. It's literally just 14 pounds. ounces > pounds > stones. so you might say "I'm 10 stone 5" instead of saying 145 pounds.

I think Wren is the goofiest 'character' on Corridor Crew. So seeing him drunk was very funny. But I agree that it shouldn't be a regular thing. Maybe keep the next one for 15M subs :) Or maybe Jake can do an 'acting drunk debunk' video, like the Batman disappearing video...

Veritasium changed a thumbnail on a recent video and it actually *did* make me change my mind about watching it. lol
@MaaZeus11 күн бұрын
That is a one tactic to get more views. There are people like me who avoid videos with click baity and sensationalistic thumbnails like a plague unless I am 100% sure that this creator is actually good and content is worthwile. Changing the thumbnail and title is afterwards is usually meant to capitalise on people like me and try to get me to watch after the initial wave of watches has died down.

@ for sure, that’s actually what I think it was. It was a few weeks after I had seen the original thumbnail. lol

5 Minutes, 5 Hours, 5 Days. Would be good as a "render challenge" style video, especially if you can combine it with a special guest. Could be Clint, or Peter, or Fenner. I think you could pull someone like external, similar to Markiplier. Spencer Agnew from Smosh would be a good pick. He has a strong video editing/technical background, but hasn't done VFX, so he could be guided by someone else. He also has a really good on screen, comedic presence, similar to Markiplier. If partnering with Smosh, you could probably pull in one or two more of their cast to be recorded on green screen as the source material to work with.

Idk I feel like Niko turning rough demo tracks into more polished versions without actually doing the work is kinda lame. Then again, I’m against a lot of the generative AI stuff. I also think he’s a little “full of it” (respectfully) when he says he doesn’t give a shit about “pretty” anymore. I’m CERTAIN there is a level of quality that he feels his videos must reach, internally.

I have to say, my favorite DnD campaigns, video wise, are easily Call of the Wild and the Pokémon campaign from Node. I would love to see more Son of a Dungeon with or without VFX, as long as the chemistry is good. Sam is an excellent DM, and the campaigns are just fun. Please do a season 3 or a side DnD series that is more one shot like the Node campaigns without the vfx, saving the big stuff for SoaD. Im a little late to comment on this, but son of a dungeon 1 and 2 were fantastic and I hope to see more.

Hey, I think for your 5 minutes, 5 hours, 5 days should be with 3 crew members. Each crew gets a long 15-30 second shot in a short, so at the end of the challenge you each will achieve the beginning middle and end of a short / sketch and you’re simultaneously doing the 5 minutes, 5 hours, 5 days challenge.

32bit float may have a theoretical dynamic range of 1528db, but the mic capsules are analog components that translate vibrations into voltage. If you clip at the capsule, it won’t matter how much dynamic range you have in the digital domain.
