Yasmeen deserved to eat off the floor for bringing up poor Geoffs abusive past with his violent ex. All he did was try and buy her a nice romantic meal. She treated him so badly

he is literally mentally abusing her, if i had seen that my husband had a past with abuse i would ask, im pretty sure he had abused that ex in a similar manner he is abusing yasmeen by controlling and using her money, killing her favorite pet and feeding it her, stealing photos of her dead son to scare her and keep her in the house, kicking out her granddaughter, controlling her whole life, convinving her shes an alcholoic and then forcing her to drink wine. she is scared to death of him. she was cleaning up a stain of food he had thrown on the floor whilst he was off buying an escort with her money. not to mention him TRAPPING HER IN A BOX when shes clastrophobic.

I kinda agree. Even though Geoff isn't the kinda guy everybody likes, the best course of action is always to avoid, perhaps even ostracize. What goes on between husband and wife, what goes on between two people in any relationship, is their business, and only their business. It was not Alya's place to interfere, if anything, her interference exasperated the situation.
