I remember watching this abuse storyline at the time and feeling so angry on Yasmeen’s behalf. The way Geoff treated her was simply disgusting and appalling!!! That being said, it was great Corrie did a storyline that highlighted the issue of domestic violence and the fact that it comes in very different forms. It’s important that people experiencing domestic violence recognise the signs so that they can seek help and support to get out before it’s too late.
