Thank you, Nijo. I was so angered and saddened by how he treated the poor lady that it made me cry. This is happening across India, and probably, the rest of the world, every single day. I believe that, later on, the man should have at least paid for those vegetables from the money he stole from her, or even returned all of the money he extorted from her. I hope a lot of people see this and change their evil ways. Thank God for vigilance officers. There is only a small percentage of people who are compassionate and honest. The entire country of India is awash with bribery and corruption, right from Modi on down, all rotten to the core. And, karma is sure to make a brutal visit to each one, big or small. It works this way - a worker at the lowest end of the totem pole takes a bribe. He then pays a cut to his superior, who passes it on to the next higher level, and on, until it reaches the top. I am sure the government officials at the top are making huge sums that trickle from below. If the guy doesn't take a bribe, he is blackballed and intimidated, or might even lose his job. Now, here is the rub - if the guy at the bottom takes his child for enrollment to school or university, for example, he has to pay a bribe, which he will be ill able to afford. So, where does the money for this bribe come from? Now, you can see the vicious circle trapping people in a catch 22 situation. But, this has GOT TO stop. India is an evil empire because of corruption. Thank you, Nijo. I hope you have inspired and made corrupt people think.

This is what Christ did and preached ...before he died on the Cross...on his right and left were two sinners crucified...one of them was speaking ill of Christ...while the other was good in his words for Christ...Christ looked up to God and asked forgiveness for the one in hate...saying he does not know what he is doing...while for the other Christ said to him "You will be with me when I reach my Father". Another parable cites how the woman who was being stoned by the people was saved by Christ who stopped them with a question "He whoever has not sinned will first throw the stone on her"....a question that made all people flee the place...to the woman Christ had said "Go...for your sins are forgiven...and donot tread that path again..." Wrongdoings call for Punishment... suffering yields realisation and penitence...unfolds the soul in its goodness...

Nijo Jonson, the story teller has posted an interesting, amazing and amusing article called, “ Corrupt Policeman takes free vegetables from a lady vendor at the roadside cart.” This story came in only 13 hours ago. The story was in Tamil dialogue without English subtitles. However the story comes in video clip which you can see and hear clearly of what happening on site. From there you gauge what’s happening on site. By the action of the corrupted policeman helped himself with the vegetable, shouting at the vendor and left without paying you do not need to be a genius to know the police officer was robbing the vendor’s vegetables. This happened not once, not twice but every time when the vendor ply her merchandise on the roadside. To me I see the Policeman was demanding what we usually see the gangsters demanding protection money for their victims. The difference is the collector is a Policeman wearing Government uniform. However, on one unlucky day he stop a car driven by some plainclothes government officers. This corrupted Policeman stop his car and he he had violated traffic rules and demanded to see his driving license. But the plainclothes official called the Headquarters and reported the corrupted Policeman, who had his name printed on his uniform. Of course the corrupted Policeman smelled a rat and immediately beg for mercy but the plainclothes officer did not give two hoods. However, his victim saw the event took pity on him and she gave him a bag full of vegetables for him to feed his family. The silly was very touched and cried for being cruel to the lady vendor before. The moral of the story is “ those who committed offence will be punished one day and it’s a matter of sooner or later.” Hope you enjoy this story.
