I really enjoy how VibingLeaf's videos deal with dark and extensional subject matter, there's usually a twist to the end that makes it seem more hopeful, or at least bittersweet. An angry ghost that haunts a nostalgic childhood game is recontextualized into it being lonely, and wanting someone to vent to and play with. Or in Red Mist, the shock value of squidwards demise is contrasted with the reactions of Spongebob and Patrick processing the tragety, and trying to comfort another. Doing that without undermining the horror of the main video is extremely hard to do, but VibingLeaf pulls it off spectacularly.

Honestly if I found a game like this, I'd need it right about now. I heavily relate to the fact that I have friends that are one-sided to me, who tend to just see me as an obstacle because I try to interact. I'm the butt of jokes, and I've had to distance myself from *everyone* because I've felt that no one wants me as a friend because all I am is the degenerate teen everyone hates these days. This video made me nearly cry with the fact that I saw the words saying the game was here for me. Sure it was all editing, but I felt like I was there playing the game. The music was peaceful and made me feel eased, and it all kinda comforted me. The way the ending was so calming and straightforward, it allowed me to just feel... happy, for the first time in a while. Amazing work, VibingLeaf, really, truly amazing work. Keep it up.
