So i'm getting alot of flack for having fireball in S tier, let me justify that claim. This was not something easy to make. I'm not saying its the BEST for the warden but in comparison to other epics, its one of the few that is good to build around and very strong because of that. I've heard some think i have an ego but its funny because i don't. I do not lack common sense but i've been doing this for a long time. Seems like whenever i do these, i'm controversial but that's kinda the point. I have hot takes that many don't agree with. I'm not that bad at the game, and i do have some level of competitiveness but with that said, i'm not perfect. But with that said, fireball as a whole isn't bad or terrible or awful. Its most based that most players here probably don't have it at lvl 18. I have a guide on it because its very much needed and personally, its the most fun i've had in the game. Pro's aren't using it because of rr spam

S-Tier implies a universal application. As you said with Spiky Ball, it itself is only so good because it requires the use of support in order to be effective. Similarly, the Fireball requires invisibility spells to be useful. Additionally, the Fireball requires heavy investment to be useful. You have to get it minimum to 18, whereas the GG is useful at every level. Even the Frozen Arrow is more universally useful. You can’t just throw it into an army composition and do well with it. Finally, the Warden’s other equipment can more than make-up for not using the Fireball. However, the King without it loses a ton of applications.

Even if the armies built around the fireball are super strong, the fact that it doesn’t have that flexibility shows that it doesn’t belong in S tier. Fireball armies aren’t even the very very best in the game yet you have to shape your entire army around a single equipment. Other S tier equipment though like eternal tome, gauntlet, invisibility vial, and haste are strong in any army comp, all the time

Honestly I agree. The biggest difference as to why the fireball is so much better than the spiky ball even though they are both niche is the impact they have. The fireball is so good that an entire strategy can be built around it, especially considering how much easier it is to control. The spiky ball is too unpredictable and doesn’t have enough power to build an entire comp that revolves around it, however it can be implemented within other comps to grab some extra value.

As a town hall nine(im an early town hall 10 rn), i use the spiky ball and zapdrag. I wreck air defenses with lightning spells, and then send in my dragons. they work their way around the base and a few go to the center. after about half of the base is wiped, i then send in the barbarian king on the side i deployed the dragons. i then immediately use the ability, and it goes towards the inside of the base where the town hall and core defenses are. 3 star every time

Keep doing it, you’ll be able to do mass-dragon plus spiky ball in higher town hall levels. You may also upgrade spiky ball’s bestie, vamp stash.

Yeah at lower th levels spiky ball can be good. I will argue as you do go higher, try to use other armies as well. Spiky ball won't be super good but you can always use air spam with it for great success.

Mate, the fireball is just niche it's best use is when your catching a blimp early in the attack or if your doing a warden walk. The frozen arrow is always good it keeps the queen alive so much longer if you want a QC/QW its perfect anr outsidr of that its great causr your usually using her wiht you main army in that case where the slow is really useful

@@arnhav6090defense don’t need to be clumped together for fireball to be useful. Warden walk with fireball is more about setting a crazy good funnel for the first minute. You could take out 8 storages with it, and as long as it sets the funnel. It still gets crazy value. Not base dependent at all. I regularly get +320 in legends with it against any base type, it’s one of the most flexible equipment out there against any base as long as you are using armies that compliment it

Not sure about that Spiky Ball. It's on B tier because it's hard to control and needs other spells to be effective. While Fireball is in S tier, where you need at least 2 invisible spell (3 on his attack).

I really like to believe the fireball is better than people say, *especially then,* and I kinda like this type of heat. The one counterpoint from the Fireball is that it's stated to be very situational and the ones that are really flexable are considered better. But let's look at this a bit more technical: The fireball can almost one-shot defense, reaches buildings next to the target, it targets from almost 12 blocks. It destroys the base spells (very beneficial). Of course, especially in coc level 1 of a unit isn't always the best example. It doesn't one shot archer towers (lv21, hp1800) and cannons (lv19, hp2000). But a level 8 fireball (dm2050) can easily one-shot them and it's not even max lv. 27. And despite not doing one-shots, you can use earthquakes.. Of course when it's a coc-puzzle it feels more of a solid piece, but silent smartasses would be the best at the game though. They mostly go with what works for them and winners don't focus at all to share, maybe because they wanna stay at the top, maybe because talking about it isn't their expertise or something else. But KZbinrs are the ones that might be interesting, thought-provoking or something else. They are the ones to lead us through for fun, learning, getting better, good content all to share. And with this game it's definitely okay to agree to disagree. If someone thinks on the surface aka dumb, it's still a game - about winning. So what? Just play the game 😛

I wouldnt rate fireball S because of its lack of flexibility and having to build an army around it for it to work, it can have a bad value or insane value depending on how you use it, other equipments like healing tome and eternal tome have way more flexibility. That being said its definitely the next equipment i'm gonna upgrade, on CWL where u can plan attacks it will be so useful

I think you underestimate its strength just because you have to build around it. I mean its the same way you treat support warden. Its easier and more flexible but the armies that support warden can use aren't always a going to be a 3 star and can still fizzle out. However, fireball doesn't have that limitation. You may be niche to building around it but usually its nearly impossible to defend. You have to hope that the attacker using it messes up. Plus if you know how to use it, you can identify where the value is on the base regardless of the base type. So are the armies niche, sure. Are they weak? No. Are the super base dependent, also no

Spike Ball is S if leveled up to 18^ The FireBall is B or Low A since it’s on the Warden who typically plays the support role. I hope next epic goes to Warden or Royal Champ. Would be cool to see Warden Summon Dragons yes there’s mini wardens but that would cause a nerf on the troop if he summons them.

Support warden is strong and i cannot deny that. However you are underestimating how strong fireball is. At the same level of the spike ball that you say, it can clear more off the map than the spiky ball. All in part as its easier to control and it takes less spells and investment to get that value. Spiky ball is not bad by any means but isn't really on par with the gauntlet or fireball due to its lack of power.

I think the archer queen might have one similar to archer puppets but releases super archers instead. There’s one that speeds up troops and allows them to jump over walls. Also one that drops like a stunning bomb on defenses. None of this is confirmed obviously but this same leak predicted the spiky ball a month before so 🤷‍♂️

I went trough my defense log to see how many people used in the last 5 days the fireball against me. It was only 4 persons out of all of the attacks that were against my village. None of them did manage to 3 star me. (Get on defence per day 3-5, 3 stars). For me personally also after testing it out a few days, its a good A Tier in the right hands. For context: Mid ladder Legend League player ~5450-5600 trophys

Ofc, I assume you stick to spam attacks, which is fine. If you do use other armies, i understand that support warden is strong. But do not count out fireball as it's just as strong as support warden. The reason I say S tier is because this tier list is about strength. Out of all the epics, gauntlet and fireball are on opposite ends of the spectrum in use case but in strength, they are roughly similar

I would put fireball at most at A, beacause of nichr usage. Base dependecy and high lvl requirment. Gauntlet and arrow (its defintly weaker) doesnt need to be maxed to be good. Slow at lvl 9 is very strong. If u ranked fireball i would rank ball higher since they are smillar that they need high investment and base specific

Hey, you do realize root riders exist...guess you didn't think about that. So NO DUH they aren't using it. However you are wrong that pro's aren't using it. Some like navi, tribe, and synthe are using it in some way

The goal of pros in the current meta is to 3 star as fast as possible. They don’t have time to do a 1 minute long warden walk because their attack should only be 1 minute total or they lose the war. You will notice that if someone does fail to 3 star in a pro war, the pros will start slowing their attacks down and breaking out queen walks and fireball to get a more guaranteed 3 star. We aren’t pros and don’t have to worry about attack time, so fireball is actually the best epic equipment to guarantee 3 stars on most bases. Coming from someone that regularly get +320 in legends with fireball as my only epic equipment that I have leveled up

Tbh firball is not S because of it being on the warden it is very good but it being situational and also on the warden makes it not able to be an S vs the gient gauntlet is not situational and the bis for king they are not comparable whatsoever
