@@t.n.9508 I controlled the fan speed through my motherboard BIOS. they will be pretty loud when you first boot your pc up but after you set up a proper fan curve they are very silent.

@@t.n.9508 The motherboard regulates how much voltage goes to the fans, therefore determining how fast they spin. and no you cannot use icue to control fan speed, only RGB.

I just used this case for a build, and I really like it. The only somewhat tricky part regarding the limited cable management space was the routing of the thicker motherboard and GPU power cables - there's a recessed channel to the left (closer to front fans) that makes it possible to do this and still reinstall the metal side panel without it bulging out. If you want to install a longer, three-fan GPU, beware; I chose the XFX RX 5700 Xt Thicc III Ultra and I had to permanently remove the front middle fan in order to make it fit. Luckily l still seem to have adequate airflow through the case, after adding an exhaust fan in the rear. It's possible I'll be able to fit a slim-case fan in place of the one I removed, should I decide to try.

@@j.7658 The PSU and HDD cage fit perfectly fine even when using a larger size like the RM 750x which I use myself. All you gotta do is fit majority of the cables through the bottom opening at a 90 degree angle :)

I realize similar questions are asked a million times, but this is my first build... I ordered this Corsair 220T RGB case, a Corsair 240mm H100i Platinum RGB cooler, Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro RAM sticks, and the MSI Z390-A PRO motherboard. I want to mount the AIO cooler with the fans at the top like you did in this video, but am worried that the RAM sticks will interfere with the fans and I won't be able to get the look I want. Do you know if you had used Vengeance RGB sticks whether or not it would have fit? Or were the Vengeance LPX just short enough to work? In other words, do the AIO fans cover the RAM sticks or are the sticks actually clear of the fans? I also am assuming my MSI motherboard has the RAM slots at the same position as the ASUS motherboard you used. If they aren't then I may have a problem. I'm hoping my build will work as I have read that vertically mounting an AIO cooler is a bad idea. Thanks for your time!

You have to connect the fans to the mobo as well. The lighting node only allows for controlling of the speeds and RGB.

I’m planning to build one almost exactly like this! Although, if you have a small enough gpu it’s better for your aio to go on the front of the case. You could use the fans that come with the aio for exhaust then. Just a tip

Aios always look better mounted up top if its a two fan aio. Its also better to exhaust from the top of the case because heat rises.

Yes that is true, but bitwit has a video comparing the positioning. There were better cooling results with mounting to the front, and you can use the aio fans for top exhaust and the included front fans for the aio. Just my opinion but if you want to spare the extra cooling for looks you can.

Those two fans only come with the AIO cooler. The only fans that come with the case are the 3 fans you can see in the front of the case! ;)

technically on Asus boards when using two ram sticks, use the two furthest slots away from the cpu. it says in the manual.

My AIO cleared the ram, but is pushing against the motherboard's shield that covers the USB/display hub. Also take the HDD tray out before you start working. Otherwise...pain

The sp120 pro has 2 cables, for for power for spinning and 1 for rgb lighting. The rgb cables should already be attached to the lighting node core. Just have to find 3 fan headers in your motherboard or buy a fan splitter

I have the case and struggling to get the rgb fans and my aio rgb working. I have a commander pro, that the 4-pin fans headers are plugged into, where do the 3-pins go? I had the aio pump on the aio pump header, but my pc would boot and say cpu fan failure, so i moved it to the cpu fan header and it boots fine, but no rgb control. Please help

You need to align your motherboard with the screws at the bottom of the case as he shows at 1:55. I have this case as well and it sucks that the screws aren't labeled, but I'd suggest just using your best judgment and you'll kinda figure out which ones go where through trial and error. Hope that made sense.

Connect them to fan headers in the motherboard. Buy a fan splitter if your motherboard doesn't have enough fan headers for all the fans you want in your case
