Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro review - less buttons but more battery!

This is an unboxing and review of the Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro, a fantastic update to an already awesome gaming mouse that I love.

The new Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro boasts a number of changes. Some of these are cosmetic. For example it has a different side button layout and different mouse wheel texture. It also has MORE RGB than the last model, a touch more DPI but less buttons. It also has USB-C instead of Micro USB.
It's worth noting that this video is comparing the SE version with the new standard version (because they didn't send me the SE) but you still can get a wireless charging model too!

Mine is absolute garbage the battery life barely lasts 2 hours and the connectivity keeps falling in and out.

Not sure if its intentional but the mouse wheel clicks to the right and when pressing down. Gives it a bit more utility. However it is a bit stiff to scroll. Just gotta get used to it.

My only issue is the left mouse button sensitivity. It is way, way too sensitive. I end of double-clicking on stuff way too often. Worst part is I can see other people online complaining about it but not how to fix it.

Great overview, I'm a huge fan of Corsair. I recently picked up a Corsair PC and it's the best PC (pre-made) that i've ever owned. I need a new mouse and this may be just the one.

im also a huge fan of their products although their software needs to be improved.all gaming peripherals from them: k95 platinum, st100, mm800, voi d pro, dark core se.wanted to buy this mouse se version but i think the slight differences dont rly count as much as im happy with mine :)

Okay, so I had my Core RGB Pro for just a little over 6 months; Avid COD playing and other games. I loved the mouse. But the left clicker doesn't work no so... I REALLY want another one, but I don't want the same malfunction.

Why are there so few mice with a pinky rest nowadays ? Sliding your pinky over the mouse mat all the time is annoying and it leaves oils from you finger on the mat which influences its gliding properties.. and in addition to that, your pinky nail scratches the mouse mat which reduces its lifespan even more.. i have OCD and shit like this drives me crazy! 😠 Strangely, almost all mice have a thumb rest even though your thumb rarely reaches that low since you want the forward/backward buttons close to your thumb... 😕

yes. qi is used on just about all wirelessly charged things.

The Mouse pad for this is mm800 unfortunately it doesn't have QI charging

I have both here in front of me. Overall if you have smaller hands and don't need bluetooth / multi-device then go with the G502. The corsair seems better for bigger hands and is heavier. It has the ability to swap between bluetooth and slipstream wireless is very important for me so I'm sticking with the corsair.

yo i just bought mine i made a bunch of settings in the ICUE app but about after 2 hours the battery i think died do i have the settings to high or something or do I got a faulty mice?

did you charge it before you used it? That's a ridiculously short life. I'd suggest fully charging it and seeing how it goes.

You're probably better off using the Slipstream dongle, but the connection is solid whatever :)

It charges when ever it's plugged into your pc. So it'll likely just light up, you can run it through the USB cable if you don't like wireless and it will always keep it charged

The usb lets you use corsair's slipstream wireless which is a better option then bluetooth
