Just wanted point out if it wasn't clear but there's a lot of "MMO" mice out there but more buttons isn't always better IMO. That disqualified the G600, Scimitar and other 12 button mice. Those mice don't have forward and backwards buttons and web browsing using remapped forward and backwards buttons on one of the 12 small buttons just wasn't going to fly. 6 buttons was plenty for me and forward & backwards using button 4 and 6 still feels really comfortable.

I have the G600, awesome mouse. It's ruined me with the ring click which is hard to live without. For this mouse, web browsing left and right is done by tilt the scroll wheel left or right (no need to remap anything) :)

@@xXCorruptedzXx ohhh a ring click could be useful. That mouse is cheap enough it might be worth picking up just to use for a few weeks. Too bad it’s a very old mouse and they don’t have an updated wireless version.

I use a G600 and I just have forward/back on tilt wheel and use (need, even) all 12 buttons in final fantasy 14 (plus I bind tilt wheel in game as well) you have to get used to it but once you spend a few weeks building muscle memory it's amazing

I had a g600 and it felt like a steaming turd compared to the rest. There's a reason it's $30 and feels worth even less. The rubbery side buttons are hard to distinguish from one another and it's just an overall piece of crap. Maybe if I hadn't used far superior ones first I would've loved it.

I went through 3 Naga Pros due to button defects with the side panel.. I am very careful and use it for work, not games. Went got g604 and while I prefer the shape, I pray it doesn't double click. Also the Razer had better build quality.

the original naga trinity had a problem with the side panel disconnecting randomly. even if its only one disconnect per hour for 5 seconds that's too much for mythic raiding. they said they were never planning to make a normal naga again. the trinity was quickly taken off the market and re released at a cheaper price as if nothing happened. then they made the naga x which is amazing. the weight difference is big to me. the reason to use the two button side panel on the naga is just for people who use the naga all day as their main mouse but wanna hop on a shooter and keep the same mouse shape they are so used to. while also using different muscle memory with a different side panel or if you want to grip the mouse a bit different with more pressure on the tip of the thumb

How bout a sidplate with 9 buttons, now there's an idea!!! Then there wouldn't be a 4th rear row to get confused about! It would then truly cater to EVERY genre ;)

I see you have the same thoughts and requirement on the mice as I have. In the office I am still using my old MX1100, resurrected with new switches, just because I cannot find more comfy mouse for my palm grip. It has fewer buttons, so I in some apps I use scroll tilt as additional buttons. For some time it was fine. But G604 has just more thumb buttons and connects to two devices (BT + 2.4G). Battery life is also quite good. The downside is lack of pinky rest and the switches which already have double click issue. MX Master series was just too heavy for me. With quite low DPI there was a need to lift it quite often and with slick right side it felt like slipping from my grip. Also the side scroll up till v3 was horribly placed. Naga v2 Pro seems like a perfect combination and something worth trying. If only it wasn't so expensive, it would be my first non-Logitech mouse since like 2008.

My dock stopped charging, I sent the mouse to warranty for an unrelated thing, they sent me a new one that charged, so if your dock stops charging it might be the mouse, maybe I should've scrubbed it's contacts or something

The G604 is what completely broke my trust in Logitech. I had to RMA my first unit just one week before the warranty as the mouse developed a bad double clicking issue which made it absolutely unusable and now 2 years later the replacement has developed the exact same issue, and the replacement cant be replaced any further as the original warranty is no longer valid. Given that i spend close to 80 bucks for it, it seems like such a waste. This one bad is enough to outweigh any of the good that the mouse has in my opinion, and this is a common issue because the engineers at Logitech didn't check the voltages of the switches, so all G604 made with these switches WILL 100 PERCENT FAIL within a few years. Last time I'm buying logitech

I only know about the Naga Pro. I don't know if it was just my unit but the mouse sounded exactly like the old trackball mice when you even gently rested your hands on the finger buttons. In terms of the side buttons, they don't feel premium: they're clicky and fast to actuate but are smooth plastic instead of textured.

The naga side buttons are 10x better than the Logitech g600, which are rubbery, squishy and hard to tell apart and click one without clicking another.

We think alike, man! I've been using a G700s for years, and a G700 before that. I bought a G604 to replace it, but I HATE the new G Hub software so much that I ordered a Naga Pro to try out and see if that suits me better. And I agree, the G604 could really use a place to rest the 4th and 5th fingers. The mouse begs to be held in a palm grip, but then your fingers end up dragging or cramping up.

@Gigabitz
@Gigabitz 2 жыл бұрын
@@fullmetalflix5195 I ended up sticking with the Logitech G604 and returning the Razer Naga Pro. My hand has just kind of learned how to hold it. My pinky does touch my mousepad a lot, but it's rarely an annoyance. Just FYI. And the G604 lets you remap everything except for two buttons on top the mouse: one is not actually a button but rather a physical switch that changes between free-scroll and scrolling with detents; the other button is a dedicated mode toggle button that swaps the mouse between standard Bluetooth connectivity and proprietary low-lag wireless connection with a USB dongle. Still hate the software, but I like the mouse quite a bit.

I am currently using the Logitech G600 & the only issue I've been having [World of Warcraft] is the mice would bug from time to time where all my key-binds are useless. For example lets say I have a key bound to F4 and during those times when things go wrong as I press the button both F4 and whatever I have assign to "4" would also happen. Don't know if it was a software issue or maybe I dropped the mice and I messed things up inside. But this is happening even on my 3rd mice I've bought throughout the years. So can I have your opinion....I like the 12-side button for gaming so of the two [NPro vs G600] which would you prefer.

Corsair software icue is really trash. With msi center, if you want to choose user scenerio, computer restarting or pc crash. And a icue software macro option is really ver hard for use. Logitech or Razers are best choose option for mouse. But for this time, logictech s side macro buttons are little far for small hands, short fingers. Today i checked razer s side macro buttons and really very good and near for small or medium hands.

I always default to a palm grip, which you described perfectly where your pinky tends to drag on the mouse pad. I bought a Dark Core Pro which has a lip on the pinky side which allows my pinky to rest on that surface and not drag on the mouse pad. It has become my favorite mouse of all time for that simple feature and whenever I look at another mouse first thing I think about before replacing is my pinky going to drag on the mousepad.

The optical switches pulled me to buy the Razer Naga Pro after using a Logitech G903 and suffering with double clicking issues for years, add to that an awful G-Hub software. Synapse still has some issues but when you already mapped everything and saved 5 profiles to the mouse on-board memory, then you can just ditch synapse and never use it again (until of course Razer fixes it).

I have used all mice and different mice from different venders. Honestly I love the Corsair and the Naga pro, however ... I find the Naga pro is just a little more versatile. I have 3 mice in one it's comfortable and the weight feels natural. I recommend to anyone new to the mouse race to pick up one. With that in mind if you find you really only need a few buttons at your disposal then the Corsair wins in that area. The minor scroll wheel but for me is so marginal it could be tolerated but you'd have to weigh the odds. I've never liked the program for Logitech so I just can't offer any personal opinions, I used it once, hated it and moved on with my life. To each their own. --------------------------------------------------------------- If you wait till black Friday you can pick up the Naga pro and the charge dock for less than the Naga pro original price, if that helps make you're decision easier. I like having all the options all in one mouse. The dedicated DPI buttons on top can be remapped. Mine are remapped to open my map and auto run. I use the 6 on the side which do my alt, shift, CTL, alt+shift, alt+ CTL and shift + CTL. With my 1-6 hand stretch gives me 36 comfortable buttons and I tank or heal away. I like the form factor for the Naga pro. (The Corsair is comfortable too I prefer the razer interface). That's just my slice, use what you like and have fun.
