Had mine for a little over a year. The plastic pieces holding the ear cups broke and the plastic holding the swivel broke too. Still works, just had to tape the heck out of the thing.

Yikes, just got mine and I usually break mine pretty quick. Haven't dropped mine yet but I usually break mine bc of the wired connection catching and throwing the headset to the ground.

Thanks for the review! Please clarify, does the microphone work normally with a 2.4 GHz wireless adapter? Because I'm tired of the problems with Bluetooth wireless headsets because BT is not capable of talking and listening at the same time.

It comes with a wireless dongle so you don't need to worry about having any additional adapter. It does also do BT if you want to use the headset for answering a phone call or something on the fly, bc it's super easy to swap between wifi and bt.

After three Corsair headsets my conclusion is that I have never felt more stupid after each purchase, only one for me all the kids "hated" them too after about a week of horribly uncomfortable use. Also each was a different model. Just saying, perhaps a memory company should avoid audio.

just got this today i play rainbow 6 on pc mic dont work on there when the mic wroks the sound is terrible but then when the sound is muffled the mic doesnt work

i have these headphones and the mic is good but out of nowhere it starts making static noise very loud and hurts everyones ears, untill i take off usb from pc and plug it back in .. then its normal again for sometimes untill it does it again at one point.. i tryed everything i deleted realtek audio like they sayd on one page and did many thinks, i changed some of my ports, in some ports its very quiet cant almost hear anything i need to crank up voice all the way up or in some ports its very loud and good, overall the sound is very good and im very pleased but becose of static noice of microphone im almost ready to return it and change to something else.. its quiet annoying to go under table every time to unplug it and plug it back in, its wireless .. i dont what to do i really like them but the mic is annoying time to time.. and tis 120euros and for that mic should be fine ..

I bought mine today, I hate it. Apart from this one issue, it might be great; I don't know, I'm not going to use it because of this issue. If my PC is playing no sound, and then a sound plays, the first part of it is quiet and then the volume ramps up over the course of, I dunno, half a second? Every time. I tried updating drivers, I tried changing sample rate, I tried using the horrible iCue bloatware... No luck. Emergencies-only headset for me. I've only tried it on Windows 10, maybe it's OS-specific.

I'm legally blind and I wish that the headset had a longer battery life as well I wish that the headset would audibly announce the battery level when the headset has turned on? The other thing that I don't like is the fact that when I do turn the mic on and I try to use the headset to speak into the text field where I want to speak to text, for example, when I try to click trh3e microphone button beside the search field on KZbin it didn't work? Being legally blind it is very hard to change settings and it would be much better if they could print a CR code on the headset that would lead you to a web page where you could download some software. To be honest I would have made the headset much cheaper such as it being way too expensive. The price for this should be no more than 25.00 to 30.00 dollars?

I love their software - its the benchmark for all of these software suites. You only realise it when you get a mouse or keyboard from another company and end up regretting the move. trust me.

i love how when you change a setting in ique it instantly applies. only thing i dont like is when using corsair fans, starting ique will run the fans to 100% at the very beginning

Has anyone else had the issue where the mic just starts sounding awful? usually happens to me on discord. I'll just be playing and suddenly my mic sounds awful, changing the input device on discord fixes this issue, but does anyone have a more permanent solution?

I just learned today that I randomly do this on discord. The sound is okay, then suddenly the volume goes through the roof and I am robotic and static AF.

havent checked mic quality yet but the audio quality on these things is pretty garbage, going to return tomorrow! might be good to an average user but I'm spoiled with my Sennheisers. Needed something with a mic for gaming but the audio just doesn't cut it. very shrill and cheap sounding for what I paid, and there's a prety bad static issue like you mentioned. I had a set of $40 low end turtle beaches before and they were way better

DO NOT BUY THESE HEADPHONES. Very common issue where the mic randomly goes to max volume screeching. your team mates and discord friends will hate you. Google Corsair hs55 microphone screeching.

this is one of the worst headsets i have ever owned, for 80 dollars after tax? not worth the issues it has. this thing refuses to connect. everything about my pc is updated, ready to go. within 24 hours this headset failed in the middle of a game and has not been able to connect since.
