Logitech has already done that. They were the founders of wireless charging mouse pads and mice that have less latency than a wired mouse. If you want quality mice, buy them from Logitech.

Would've loved it and bought it if you would have added RGB to the mouse pad but without it I won't pay that price to replace my MM800. Love my ICUE profile color scheme, until you fix that issue I'll charge my Dark Core SE on my Samsung Qi phone charger, or with the cable.

I just got the mm1000 and the Ironclaw mouse for Christmas but the mouse won't charge when over the zone. I checked and it'll charge my QI enabled phone, just not the wireless rechargeable mouse

Whats the point of having a Qi wireless mousepad but cant charge while using the mouse. Im a fan of the hard mouse pad tho. been using the mm400 with scimitar for few years now. been wanting a wireless mouse now since it dont have lag like old times. like the concept of mm1000 but rather use my mm400 and have a Qi charger just next to the mousepad. hope you guys improve it soon

4 years ago I bought this mousemat, the RGB darkcore mouse and K63 wireless keyboard. That was a hefty investment for PC gaming gear. My conclusion after that time is I would not be confident buying Corsair gaming gear again. The mousemat was very temperamental when it came to charging. You have to find the sweetspot for the charging to work and it just became annoying. The keyboard, on the surface, seems sturdy and well made but on various keys, the inner structure has broken and the keys just stick. The mouse always had fluctuating wireless connectivity and now just loses charge immediately and needs to be plugged in all the time. I bought a cheap wireless Logitech gaming mouse the other day (G304) and it's like someone has just taken shackles off me. I don't know what Corsair were thinking with these products. I suspect their long history as highly reputable manufacturers of RAM boards lead their marketing people to think they could use that kudos to capitalise on the gaming gear market.

Yup. The wireless charging doesn't work well. It is less convenient to find the perfect spot to put the mouse down rather than just plugging the mouse in.

(Hardcore fanboy spotted) Here's the reason why Corsair's method beats Logitech's Powerplay. One has Qi Charging, the other one does not. One can charge my phone (other devices as well), and the other one cannot. Who wins? Edit: Also forgot to mention, Logitech's powerplay is a bit more expensive and Logitech's mouse is almost double the price compared to the new Dark Core from Corsair

Well, I leave my computer on a lot so when I'm not using it the mouse can charge in it's place. The battery has about a 24 hr life so it shouldn't be an issue. While on my computer I can use any of the adapters to charge other things while I'm using the mouse. Honestly, I wasn't aware of the Logitech one until you mentioned it but comparing it to Corsair's if either of them added a full RGB LED around the perimeter of the mousepad I'd go for either one. I like the way that looks. Another big factor would be is if they ever added a MMO mouse to the wireless line.

Bought 1 - 2 days ago, its crap. No RGB, no link to iCue for ANYTHING, it is litterally a bit of platic top with a tiny qi charge coil under it. Oh but you get a pass through USB slot which is always handy - then they say that you need to use that for the 2.4 device! Mouse is nice but whats the f'in point of wireless charging from a tiny area at the top? It made out though the whole thing keeps it charging all the time. BS! Don't waster your money, please!
