What if you didn't set CrystalDiskMark to NVMe mode before testing. What if you'd left it on default? Would the results be off?

be good to see you review this drive now as mine has completely lost the plot. Apparently a lot of people with the MP600 have the same issue where write performs drops to 1000mb/s instead of whats actually stated on the box 6500. Im going back to samsung as these become awful after they get a certain amount of data on them. Be good to see your comments

MP600 Elite or MP600 pro lpx , which one is better?

i would say, price is the dead end where the completion ends, I bought mp600 elite bcz it was cheap plus it has dram if u compare to other brands like sansung and crucial. if ur pocket allows mp600 pro lpx then u are good to go or else mp600 elite. BOTH HAVE "DRAM".

Thank you. Helped a lot. My numbers are half what you show. SEQ1M Q8T1 = 3235.24 (read) 3142 (write) MB/s. I have it in the MS-_2 Slot on an MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk motherboard. Manual says M2_2 only supports PCie x2. So do I swap this into M2_1 and then change BIOS to boot first off the old one in M2_2?

I swapped the SSDs around . Now I am getting SEQ1M Q8T1 = 7391.24 (Read) 4782.57 (Write). I did not have to do anything in the BIOS. The PC just booted as normal from the boot SSD now in M2_2 slot! Disk 0 became Disk 1 and vice versa. Thank you, again, for helping me get this MP600 Elite set up properly. Going to be using it for video editing, so having it optimised for x4 was important.
