I fixed mine using a suggested fix on reddit. I was ready to get rid of the mouse so I didn't care if it break. Unscrew the three bolts on the bottom, and use the allen wrench to also take off the middle bolt that is used to move or release the side buttons, take the upper case off (it was a little bit hard btw), and just put some WD-40 on the rotating mechanism. I honestly didn't think it would work, but tested it and VOILA! Hope it helps for anyone that is still trying to figure out a fix and save up some money on buying another freaking mmo mouse.

Seems to be some insanely helpful footage left out.. how do I open the mouse? you do it *just* off screen, where is the bolt that adjusts the side buttons? I didn't see you remove it completely but somehow you can open the mouse? I'm now more confused than I was before this video

Same. I needed to take mine apart to do maintenance on the scroll wheel. It wasn't giving so I searched to make sure I wasn't gonna break it.

My mouse of the same model as this one sometimes registers "scroll down" input when I scroll up and vise versa. So sometimes pages just scroll back up/down for a few ticks. Would you happen to know, how to fix that?

You are a wizard today. Nobody mentions that the left thumb keys can slide forward and back. The new mouse came with a tiny hex driver but no info, so I was worried I'd unscrew my warranty if I used it.

I have a problem with the middle click on the mouse, i dont know if there might be some dust caught underneath where it is attached to board have opened it up and cleaned and its still not working

Please do one on the Corsair Glaive RGB pro mouse mines double clicking and I have no way to fix it cause there’s no tutorial :(

I don't have a Glaive RGB mouse, but it sounds like the micro switch has failed, you would need to disassemble the mouse and replace the Omron D2FC-F-K switches, it would need a soldering iron and some skill. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

i have a corsair nightsword and the wheel works scrolls but the button i have to press it down really hard to work. is it possible to fix without any soderring?

Heads up to anyone who's going to disassemble any mouse like this. If you pull a wire harness by the wires like that, you risk breaking that wire off of the harness and you'll likely never get that sucker back in there. Any pressure or force used on that harness needs to be on the hard plastic.

I have the smae mouse When i play wow, Button nr 2 on the side starts to stop working sometimens and nr 5. Do i have to buy a new one or is it something i have to fix by my own?

One of my buttons on the side (6) is still click fine but dosnt quite register ingame, how can I get the buttons off the side should I maybe spray something on there?

As I had the same issue on my mouse though it is a different mouse the wheel looks very similar.. I think what happened is the rubber on the wheel started slipping and they tried to glue it down without taking the wheel out and it dripped down and glued the wheel in place instead. HAHA unpaused the video and you said what I just did
