Hi, this video is very helpful who are using water loop of corsair. i have a question that is RGB led can be replace if these are not works or entire pump will be replace. if yes then which type led/strips (which are support in pump) or single faulty led will replace. Thank you

Just did a tear down and rebuild of mine and this video was extreeeeemely helpful! I was pretty shocked at how nasty mine was, even after only a year and clear coolant only. Definitely worth the tear down!

No worries bro, a lot of my friends get worried about cleaning out there blocks etc so I thought this might show they are not really complex, just take ur time and do not really over tighten, its not necessary

Thanks for the how to. Tearing mine down now. Does the vortex plate sit inside or does it need to snap into place? When I took it apart it fell right out. When I saw your reassembly I thought I heard a click when you pressed down on it.

You can pressure fit it into the top portion , there are guides for it to sit on the manifold but it doesn't have enough tension to stay in place on it, best to just push it upward.

The small tiube can also be unscrewed from the inside so it can be put out of the way when scrubbing the interior of the reservoir.

I lost the gasket on the res is there a way to buy a replacement or something else I could use in its place?

Give me some time, I'm talking to a friend at Corsair to see if I can get u a replacement. Can you tell me the time in the video that would better tell me which gasket exactly? Also u can buy gasket in a tube, but it can be messy.

So they do not sell or have separate spare gaskets, I talked to a rep and he said they might be able to help and they wanted a few things to try and help, do you have a copy of the original receipt? then other pics of barcodes and what have you. He told me that you would have to contact them directly and I cannot file this claim on your behalf. If you have this stuff, go to Corsair.com and scroll to the bottom of the home page, find contact us or talk to a rep if the lil chat box opens up. I hope this helped, wish I could of done more for you.

Thanks for the great video, it's easy to follow along. I just bought a new XD5 and when I have it running at 90% + it begins to rattle/crackle any idea what could be causing this?

First let me apologize for the time it took me to reply, I have been going through some family issues that required my full attention, I have been asking subscribers if I can get a pass because I really appreciate all of u. Now your XD5, I think I know what is going on, The bracket it installs to that then screws into a fans holes or wherever but that bracket that holds the XD5, has those thumb screws on the bottom that attach the res to the bracket, make sure to tighten them tight, I had a issue like this and then I tightened them and it was all good, if not then you may need to remove the pump from the RES and turn it on for a few moments to see if it makes that sound. If so then you may need a new pump, I hope its not that and it just need to be tightened, also look around the area the RES is in and see if anything may need tightening, again I apologize for the wait on my reply

I had 2 360's and 1 240 plumbed into this pump and I cannot remember the exact flow rate, I remember saying it can handle 3 360's no problem, what in the world could you be cooling with 4 360's? lol 1 360 is fine for a CPU and GPU and with a slight OC, 2 360's and you can OC all you want lol
