I had to come back to this series of videos as i know your very thorough. I wonder how and if the timing numbers are different from the Performa 7 port. Just looking at the video every part besides the design of the outside of block looks the same just different branding on the crankshaft, sleeve, carb, and cooling head. Both are Adrien Bertin designs. I wonder if this is the same engine just with the new company name? If its truly different i may have to pick one up.

Thanks MrLilChilly. I don't know the timing numbers on the Performa and the technical specs are a bit messi. From what i see they look really similar. I know it's made at the same factory so it could be the same. I haven't seen the internals of the Performa yet so need do some research on that.

Great! Always learning a lot from you🙏 So now we know for sure who makes reds and its not picco anymore, sadly, beacause i have to say that those sleeve cuts are not the best i have seen, im not saying that the cuts are bad! Still a very very good looking engine. Definitely in my (very long wish list). Kings, my friend, dont ban me or unsubscribe for criticising the sleeve cuts, i have experienced that before and it broke my heart 😭😭

I have not seen an nitro engine piston that is anything other than flat on top. Interesting to see the dish shape machined on top, is the reds similar?

The FX K502 has a dome piston and i seen it on some other engines. Don't exactly know which ones now, but there are more like this. The Reds SV has a fat piston. But the sleeve design is pretty simular and you know by the carb it's made at the same factory.

@@NitroMax083 both really nice engines. pretty simular, but if i had to choose between those two i think i would choose the Corsatec. it has more cranktiming and some more topend. and i suspect the Corsatec is cheaper

When you did your fuel economy test on the k303l, what % nitro fuel are you running? Do you have 25 or 30% available?

I ran it on 16% nitrofeul since that's allowed at the races. I can still get 25%, but 30% was never available here.
