THIS. This is a trip. So far, Neil included-- my choice for best live version. Of course, David Hidalgo's beautiful and haunting piece aside, no other musicians have dared to cover Cortez The Killer...me thinks. Still....THIS. wow. In Negril, yet....🖤

This is the best thing ive ever heard. I've been to so many shows and have never heard anything like this. The black crowes have probably come close to putting something like this out there, but idk. Warren is probably a top 10 guitarist of my time that I've seen live. Anders is more than solid in his own right. Hot damn i love music!

Leí por ahí hace tiempo que Neil no pretendió reivindicar nada cuando compuso ésta canción. Algo parecido a lo que hicieron Red Bone con su canción: Todos fuimos heridos en Wonded Knee. Lo pillais?

Les Paul? I believe, sir (or madame) that you are deeply mistaken. Some people may mistake a great Gretsch for a Gibson, but the more observant among the human race most likely wouldn't make that error. However, they would clearly take this particular song to be a classic, whether played on the crappiest guitar or some bizarre oboe. Listening to this wonderful rendition, I'm pretty sure Neil would approve.

I remember the days when there was only one version of Cortez the Killer. This is a great expansion of Neil Young's epic composition..... but I'm having difficulty without the NY whining vocal. NY was recently compared with Bob Dylan for singing out of tune well the singing here is immaterial - it's all about the guitars but BD was way off pitch in the early days 1960s - both became adjusted vocally in the studio (cf Cher !).....
