Gabe Dixon sounded eerily like Gregg on that last verse of whipping post. I had to rewind and see who was issuing the vocals and low and behold on keys it was Gabe. Glad you are taking your place in helping replace our beloved Kofi. We appreciate all you guys offer us in music to change our lives for the better. Derek is a devil when he improvises. There's nothing better than him. He doesn't throw notes away and always creates moods with his phrases that are out of the ordinary. When he and Warren, another master of improvisation, are inspired, it's such a pleasure to hear from them.

The Allmans are my personal best band to originate in the usota, The only usaan band to rank in my top ten. Won't say best, there is no way, other than we all know The Beatles are the greatest ever, that you can empirically prove one above another. But Warren, Derek and Susan have kept the music of The Allmans alive. Personally Duanes solo in dreams is in my top solos ever, but then that changes with mood too.

This band is a fire hazzard!!! Smokin’ Warren, don’t let that amp out of your sight. That was the best slow blues guitar tone I’ve heard in a long time, and you played like a true Master. Everyone played and sang their asses off. Hands down, the best band out there on any night. But this night………………Smokin’ I heard it, and I know y’all did too. Happy New Year to the band who holds the keys to the Kingdom

Merci, Merci, Merci for keeping Allman Brothers Tunes Alive in this century ~ especially Merci for Dreams, as it, along with Little Feat’s All That You Dream are 2 of my very favorite songs. To hear them live is exquisite 💝. Your own songs are amazing, your talents on the guitars and Susan’s vocals are so very powerful and awe inspiring. The addition of Warren is icing on the cake. From 1970 to now I have adored ABB and am so very grateful to have TTB in my life. See you in June 🌹 🧡🍑 🎶 & 💗👣🔥🍅🚀⚙️🎶

Cool to be reminded that even though Warren is not as completely sui generis as a slide player as Derek, he still has a competely unique and recognizable (and amazing) voice on the instrument, even using more "conventional" vocabulary to build with than Derek. This was all amazing.

19:28 - YE OLDE PROVERBIAL BOMB GOING OFF. There oughtta be a law. Fuckin' little kid with a COLD MEDICINE BOTTLE.There oughtta be two laws. While I do try to listen for whats' good, and leave the rest - drumming is very hard work and it's wonderful to hear this stuff with a couple of real sparkers on skins. Add., Greg got kinda adament about not getting too far out, and in the latter ABB, IT KINDA ACTED AS A REGULATOR. Not here! like, 'bout 34 minutes in, the guitarists essentially fell all apart. KNOWING they had the chops to yank it back in, just jump off the fuckin' cliff and see what happens.

Well at least it's easy for Warren and Susan to work in some practice time. Imagine you come out of the bathroom just before you go to your bed to go to sleep and you look at your spouse you say hey honey. Let's practice a few cords of something. Must be so cool except as one of them say, "oh I love you honey but not tonight.". Sorry. My bad.
