Thanks it was either that or scrap it.Chose the hardest and most costly way however the satisfaction in restoring a car is priceless, i think any petrol head needs to do one resto in his lifetime.Thanks siehbi:)

Apart from my Blue Transit mk2 ( as seen in photo ) i have a Mk1 which i have started restoring years ago ( my first project), The thing is i lost interest, but as i see restorations on KZbin i try and get my muse, seeing yours and seeing also Pete's restoration, encourage me to start again.Thanks Brian. fordtransit.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=18310

Its true sometimes you say what the heck i'm doing as it takes money and time away from family but at the end of the day if you are doing it than that's what you should be doing:)

Nice to see someone else doing a Mk3, and good to see the lead loading on the rear wings!, My restoration will have the same when we get to that bit, factory correct, looking froward to part 2, I am editing part 10 on my video series, on my 1974 Mk3, nice work on yours well done.

enjoyed watching this a lot, love seeing these restored my brother had one when I was a teenager he would've loved watching this but sadly passed away a few months ago, great car too restore look forward to part 2 ,ps just realised Pete C helped you out with the boot latch top man Pete love his vids too.. cheers Steve

Its fared alot better than the ones in the UK due to a drier climate. Salt and wet weather is a huge killer for cars here.
