"He threw that shit high as fuck" The ball was tipped by the line backer, which tipped the trajectory of the ball upwards. That said, a testament to how good of a ball he threw because it still made it where it needed to go. EDIT: That last play was a good playcall. It was an RPO, but the low snap busted the play. he had a lane had he been able to follow the pulling gaurd. But Michigan's DE blew up Bama's RT and pushed him back into Milroe's running lane, causing him to trip thus ending the game.

Michigan had a weak non-conference schedule but prior to beating Bama, they still beat 2 top 10 CFP ranked teams, #2 Ohio St, @ #10 Penn St, and also beat #17 Iowa in the BigTen Championship. Next year Michigan schedule is stacked including a tough non conference schedule which they play Freso St, Arkansas, and Texas. Then during Bigten season, USC, @ Washington, Oregon, Michigan St, and @ Ohio St.

An argument can be made that you were right. Corum was a large part of the win. His OT TD was the greatest TD in Michigan history and I was here for AC and Desmond's "The Catch". But Wilson's catch saved this season. Wilson was the key to the natty. If wilson had not made that catch it would be just another short M season.

Know I’m super late to this party but I’m hoping you watched more on jj by now. I get it he doesn’t get those easy ass wr screen throws that the receiver takes 80 yards for the Qb. He was one of the fast QBs in college football last year especially if we are excluding just straight running QBs. One of the strongest arms as well which was proven at the combine. One of the most accurate passers in the country and the most productive QB on 3rd and long if I remember correctly. I don’t care if I get shit on for this, but I fully believe if he had played for riley he’s in the running for the heisman every year. He was that talented. Numbers aren’t the same simply because we run the ball a lot and he doesn’t get easy pitch and catch yard as much as the other spread offenses.

McCarthy is actually a VERY GOOD QB. compare his numbers to Mayes, or Williams. sure, he doesn't have the yards, but his completion percentage is above 73% He has 4.4 speed, is 6'3 215, He had a great running game, and a Great D, so he didn't have to win games for Michigan, tho, when he was asked to put numbers up, he did exactly that. He is a top ten draftee. He will have a great NFL Career. He's 27-1, All the guy does is win.
