If you’re a defender who picks the ball carrier up and then slams him on the ground that is automatically unnecessary roughness. JJ carried the ball out of bounds for an entire calendar year before getting slammed to the ground. The referees did say that their game plan was just to be observers. Well if that’s the case they should’ve just “observed” the block in the back. But I also get it. I just want consistency.

6:48 The safety was baiting McCarthy to throw the deep post. If you see that safety at the start of the play, he is on the right side of the hash marks. Before he breaks on McCarthy's throw he's on the left side of them. He was shading that direction. That's also Jaylen Key, he's a Senior. I think that was a smart decision by JJ not to test him on the deep post 7:25 it's not getting enough recognition that this is a backwards pass. If JJ McCarthy drops that, that's a live football that Alabama can recover and score with. That was the play of the game, hands down. If he doesn't make that play it's probably 14-7 Alabama 16:30 same thing happened here. If you watch #13 from the beginning of the play, he starts ALL THE WAY on the right side of the field. He was in full momentum going deep left. He had that deep route I think if JJ had thrown it. That's also Malachi Moore, Senior. He might be playing football on Sundays next year. 17:48 If it makes you feel better, that was not the same person. Lmao. The first muff that led to Alabama's first TD was Semaj Morgan, #82. The last muff at the very end of the game at the 1 yard line was Jake Thaw, #26. So, you can't knock Coach Harbaugh. He did make a switch. It just turns out all of them suck at fielding punts

Heads up in college overtime is you start at the opponents 25 yard line and no matter what both teams get a chance. If after 2 rounds it's still tied, you both have to go for 2. If after 2 of those rounds its still tied you do a 2 point off until someone wins
