How about an update. Did you find your self a C4 yet? If so what year? If you didn’t get one yet you should go for a 1996. They are the last year of the C4 with the most advanced upgrades. I have a 96 convertible that is awesome!

They both sound excellent, the Corvette is one of the few beautiful vehicles where the stock exhaust is just right.

I had an 89 Z51 with high flow cats, upgraded rear Y pipe and muffler deletes. It was damn loud but sounded so good. It was just that right amount where you always had a throaty idle and that performance car scream compared to a muscle car gut type of sound. Any who your car sounds great!

You delete the muffler and the backpressure is off you will have a loss of power unless you are modding the engine

@@christopherduby5330 It never backfired, so I'm assuming I didn't lose much if any back pressure. And even if I did, it was worth the sound upgrade. To this day it was one of the best sounding cars I've ever heard, and I'm trying my best not to be biased, but damn did I get hundred of complements.

Leave the stock exhaust system alone. The C4 design of body cause droning. Very annoying droning noise at various engine speeds. In addition you see little to no power gains, and some cases s power loss.

All the performance cars of today are getting louder & louder...the Camaros, Vettes, Mustangs....the whole of the line of imports...all of them. The US NEEDS to apply a new restriction on maximum DB levels, both factory AND aftermarket...on dynamometers from idle thru redline. The factories cheat by opening butterflies when engines pass thru about half the maximum RPM available....this silly, "rev it a little" testing is not acceptable...make it a federal standard.

It sounds ok, but it looks really stupid. The tips are way too big and hang down too low. Definitely looks like something you did in your driveway. Would not be worth the investment for me unless they a muffler with a more discreet outlet.
