In the screen grab at 3:10 I noticed the Driver rear rotor is backwards. Also at 5:16 driver front is backwards...Why? I have come across a lot of cars recently that have the rotors slotted only or slotted and drilled on backwards. Why is this?

The rotors are probably not on backwards. Afaik, the direction of the slots depend on the manufacturer, and don't correspond to the direction of the internal cooling veins. So you will see rotors with a drill or slot direction that "curves" in either direction. Doesn't mean they're backwards.
