The leather dash bubbling problem started with the C6 generation, through the C7, & into the C8

I travelled from Houston to Bastrop just to shake hands with Rick, then I was told by the event announcer your flight was cancelled because the crowdstrike incident! We missed you Rick, but at least I took a photo with the guy from Bring of Speed and his beautiful eRay!

Nice review of the jacking of the C8 which is critically important. Very low marks to Chevy Engineering to not make jacking points more obvious. Embossed arrows would be a very small investment to save likely hundreds of C8's that 'will' be wrongfully raised off the ground creating undercarriage damage.

XR- Plus Ceramic Tint is the way to go just had it installed cuts down on interior heat by 40° with the car sitting outside great question on another fantastic tech Tuesday by Rick and Chuck.

I’m surprised that Chevy doesn’t design a puck and otherwise make it safer and easier to Jack up a vehicle. It should be part of design.

Thanks, guys. Great stuff, as always. Little known fact learned at Ron Fellows 3 weeks ago. They use hockey pucks on their jacks and on their lifts to raise the cars.

That’s what I use hockey pucks. Works great! I’ve been using hockey pucks since my C6-C8.

For battery tender you do not have to shut the frunk on C8 or trunk on C7. The electrical will go into shut down mode after 12/15 minutes. No need to crip the tenders line or worry about microfiber towels.

I got an Optima Yellowtop AGM battery for my C7 ZO6. I've been very happy with it, but boy, are these things heavy. You'll learn a few new bad words when you install one.

We have a 4LT Carlisle blue that's well out of warranty. Try to limit the heat on the dash. Did I hear you correctly that if it starts to delaminte, that you need to pull the dash?! What's a ballpark $$ for that job?

Rick, they make an adjustable block for your floor jack to make it into a jack stand. It’s called the Jack Rod.

3LT 3LZ C7 NOW 3LTS IN C8 HUH? 2LZ for me not too many with that problem with delamination of the dash, Knock on wood. But my Zo6 2LZ stays in the big garage when it's not rolling. that sucks though.

I was looking last night and I wondered if these cars were still available? Is the best thing just to use that link about availability ? I didn’t want to click it because I won’t work with anyone but you….. looking forward to the shows from your upcoming trips!!
