Hi Chuck! Some detailer would grind the dirty washing sponge over the grid gate and then wring it out before diving it into the fresh water in the second bucket. That way you’ll get far less dirt into your fresh water.

One thing I notice about you guys and gals in the U.S is you all go in With the wash mitt before rinsing to the snow foam. Over here in the UK we snow foam the dirty car then rinse with the Kranzle before making physical contact with the paint work which helps avoid the dreaded swirl marks . There must be a reason/logic for this as your cars look fantastic ! 👍

I’ve never understood why so many people don’t leave all their wheel tools in a soapy bucket when they’re washing their wheels. It would give you guys so much more lubrication. Matt does it the same way just wet tools no soap whatsoever. I use all the same tools as you to clean my wheels the only differences my wheel bucket is filled with soapy water. I even foam my wheels down before I scrub them.

Hey Chuck. Great video. A couple of questions. What is the foam cleaner you use? And do you know if it is safe for convertible tops. Also, what is the pressure output of your power washer? I am concerned that if the pressure is too high it might hurt the paint finish. Thanks.

Question (purchased a 19' Stingray 2LT) - the windows are smoked & even though they look OK they are not as tinted as on your car. Did your car originally come with smoked windows? If so (or not) what percentage [tint] are your windows? Did you also do the windshield too?

Question....When you spray the foam and then start washing it looks like some of the foam had dried onto the car. Does that hurt anything or is it not a problem because of the CR Spotless and the type of soap you're using?

Its a PH neutral soap in that its Adams shampoo so as soon as the CR Spotless water hits it, It washes right off.

Hello Chuck, I recently joined your channel and enjoy your videos when I have good internet overseas. When you have a chance I would like to ask you a few questions on how to take care of a new vette...My wife and I were killing time looking at new vetts. She suprised me by giving me the green light to purchase my dream car. I just bought a 2017 Z06 w/3LZ & Z07 package. We went to go see the Stingray and we came out with the showroom car...same color as yours, very nice! Anyway, 4 days after the purchase I find myself away from home and it will be a while before I get back. So I have a few questions that I would like your advise. What is the best way to contact you. I'm not sure if email addresses are allowed on KZbin...Thanks and look forward hearing from you! Louie

You have an amazing car, and also one amazing garage and set up. I do know one thing for sure however, a snow foam is a pre wash which helps to soften, loosen, and encapsulate harsh abrasive particles from the paint. For that reason it is intended to be rinsed off prior to a contact wash. Running a wash mit through all that dwelled snow foam could have a negative effect on your car’s paintwork causing swirling. I have seen car detailers that will prewash and rinse and then add a second coat of snow foam to act as a lubricant as you describe. But you certainly shouldn’t be moving the already loosened particles around with a wash mitt. This is not intended to be a harsh comment and I hope it doesn’t come across that way, I wish I had a driveway and garage like yours to work on my car. If you haven’t already and you can handle a very odd British accent, Check out this guys video, Car cleaning guru top ten swirl prevention tips.kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3Slm6eKirR0pNU
