If I may though, I am sure you get many requests as it is, but if you are looking for additional Warhammer 40k song inspiration from outside the primarchs or the legions, it occurs to me that a song on Macharius, the Space Alexander the Great of the Imperium from the time where the Imperium was bereft of any loyalist Primarchs could hsve incredible potential for a badass song. Nice!!! I was hoping he was gonna be the next one!!! Overall, it's sounds nice. But I was hoping the vocals were less rough sounding and more "epic tragedy" sounding. Like a mix of Vulkan (epic) and Sanguinius (tragic).

Fair point, and I did struggle with this dilemma. I decided to go with a heavier approach (by the way, this song has three different styles) because I wanted to convey the feeling of someone who has endured and endured until they finally let everything out. I saw a bit of myself in this, as the theme feels personal to me. With this approach, I initially tried more epic vocals, but they didn’t sound very good, which is why I ultimately settled on this final version 😊

I don't think death metal is the right style for Corvus or Ravenguard... They're way more subtle than that, I think gothic doom would be a more fitting option
