Your plants are incredible. Not an trace of algae or leaf melt. Amazing
@rachelh14525 жыл бұрын
I have that plant! It’s growing along the substrate, which is good, but the older leaves are getting a dark algae growing on them. Yours are so nice and green, algae free! My LFS suggested my pH was too high (7.8) but I don’t really want to start chasing pH... anyway, another helpful video Joel! I have all of these little plant spotlight videos in a special playlist that I watch repeatedly. Keep up the good work!

I love these hands on videos. Plant trimming for controlled chaos. Alas, I have pinched off and pulled out the "wrong" part of plants and murdered them. And I never used fertilizers before. They were too expensive and too confusing. Hail to Easy Green and to you and your green fingers and thumbs. Have a great weekend. 👍💕👍

Your tanks look so natural, rather than a planned 'scape. Just beautiful.

Hygrophila Pinnatifida is one of my favorites, great plant and nice video man
@kathleenwhite97415 жыл бұрын
When I started to try out plants in my aquarium I got one pot of a few types to see if I could keep them alive and if they would hold up to the bumbling trio that are my goldfish.🤔🐠🐠🐠😜 The Hygo Pinn was the one plant that didn't even make it a week.☹️ The knot heads three frappeed that little plant to oblivion! They didn't eat it, just broke it to teeny tiny pieces. Too bad, as it was the one plant that I really wanted in my tank because it is so pretty. It reminds me of the house plant False Aralia, that I could never keep alive either. I'm glad the Hygro is doing good for you and will look forward to seeing to grow in your tanks! Thanks for the species profile and pruning video, cuz I love watching them! 👍😀🌿🌱🌿

Beautiful tank! I planted a good amount of emersed growth HP last week. Can’t wait. Could you please do a short video on the settings you use on your Fluval 3.0’s. So many options, finding that balance is tough. Thanks much for the videos

I was just busy with this plant, busy? In my situation it's planted 3 months from now and it's just sitting there, it doesn't die of any further,stems are hard but it won't take off ? Patience I know,but could there be anything I could help the plant with specifically? Love these vids, so useful and practical. Very much like to see someone enjoy his plants as much as I do. Thanks Joel.Greetings from the Netherlands.

Hi Corvus. this is one of my favourutes plants, I am rescaping my aquarium this week and I would love to have that plant in it. Now, I have 75-gallon tank, Black Seachem Black Flourite substrate and my light is a Fluval Plant, 3.0, 54W. Do you think this set up would help to grow this plant? No Co2. What is better? to plant it in the subtrate or in the hardscape?

I have serious plant lust for pinatafida. Will it survive in my low-tech tank with pretty good lighting and regular feeding and regular shots of liquid carbon?
@StanTheObserver-lo8rx5 жыл бұрын
Co2? Mine failed with none. It never really could grow the underwater foliage from the land foliage it came with.

Hey Oscen! I have difficulty in keeping pinnatifida..the plant keeps melting of Everytime...I don't have Co supply but I dose ferts..got a good light..rest all the plants are doing good but this plant just dies...

It another plant Amano made famous..that is 100x harder to grow on no Co2.
@Cgraseck5 жыл бұрын
But I use CO2!
@StanTheObserver-lo8rx5 жыл бұрын
@@Cgraseck Try more light. Corvis us using TWO Fluval lights with each having 250 LED's..that's like one third more LED's per light than other brands..double most brands really. Mine had plenty of light...but just grew achingly slow foliage and weak roots..I would find it floating as suckermouth cats must have been enough. You can only replant so many times before the plant gives up.
@Cgraseck5 жыл бұрын
I've attempted to grow it under a 96 watt compact fluorescent and under three, four foot long Fluval 3.0s, both with CO2. Still no luck. I doubt that I will try it again.
@StanTheObserver-lo8rx5 жыл бұрын
@@Cgraseck Yep,it's a tough grow. They sell you the emerged growth ( at least they are not expensive) and it looks perfect. Maybe as last resort try and get a few from another aquarist growing it well in his tanks. One of the Aquarium plant boards might have that.
