Love the Nirami and Cory audience overlap! I was soooo excited to see the MWM announcement, honestly i feel like people just completely disregarded the way he did and what he promoted, they just realized that this was a promotion and started seeing red or sum, which is crazy. Like, I've seen reviews amd screenshots of the manga, it looks good! Cory had a whole team work on it, it's not some crappyly made product or, if you'll compare it to some other big youtubers product that got people sick(ahem, Mr yk who), it's miles better in execution AND thought. Dude's even got some easter eggs in the animation!!

I'm convinced that the people who were complaining about him promoting the manga have never in their life tried to tackle a project like this. Writing a book is already a very difficult thing to accomplish by itself! Adding layers onto that task by turning it into a manga complicates things even more because now you have to take show don't tell to 11 so your story is coherent, reads comfortably, and is visually appealing without pages feeling cluttered. Yeah, maybe some of that time away was also just for him. So what? Projects like these take so much out of you on top of taking a lot of time themselves. It annoys me because these are the people that beat their chest claiming that what artists do is easy. It isn't. I fully agree. Cory didn't have to apologise for anything. There are so many worse things that a creator could do for money. Making a manga? That ain't even in the top 50, bro.

In terms of Cory apologizing, I had an assortment of mixed feelings. On one hand, I understand why he apologized and that he wished to give his condolences of him suddenly disappearing for what has been a couple months (a year technically) and so on. And that is fine and well in good manners. On the other hand however, he's done this at least four or five times where he'll just suddenly drop off the face of the earth without a word, and to me it's personally just getting tiring. *BUT*, the issue overall isn't just the fact he's disappearing suddenly, it's the fact he doesn't inform his fans for when he is going to be gone. I feel like the thing of letting the fans know when he'll be gone would benefit him more and cease a lot of the activities which come from the more radical, younger, or over-speculative fans which try to leech off of his disappearances on KZbin. And that's kind of where I see the issue lying in, his fan base. It needs to be more informed because I know to an extent he usually is able to give a word out to his fans to try and not do things which he or others who follow him don't like. Am I glad that he's doing something he is currently loving to do? Yes, I am. Hell, as a long time fan of his, it's awesome to see him glow up further into being somebody who creates something which can hopefully get big. But, on another note, it's just, like I've said, tiring to see him disappear without a word. But, thas jus me. P.S, your videos are animations be funny as hell Hav gud day, stay safe

TBH I never really watched Cory's videos it's not really becuase I didn't like his content I just didn't really know much about him until people started to point out how he stopped uploading. So while I wouldn't consider myself a big fan of Cory I still think it's great seeing someone that people have been fans of for years return. Fr like part of his fanbase is starting to use the fact that they subscribed, liked, and watch his videos as an excuse to justify being entitled to his content and the disgusting behavior towards him having a life of his own and taking a break from the screen to support his goals.
