Only 15 min in and this is my new fav live concert recording of Cory's. Energy is so good and the sound is so clean. Its always a bummer in a way when the lineup changes but this group sounds so great.

The Lick @ 7:12. Thanks for sharing. I just wish he still have that great guitar player in th band, the cat that recorded 'Art Of Love', a tight and beautiful album, which s IMO a modern R&B/Neo-Soul-Jazz classic record.

@@AkibulanHorusRA I was there as well.... the sound was really really bad. I had tickets for second row and didn't hear anything Cory was playing, when bass and drums were playing as well. Also before the show started, the band had some trouble with the stage plan. Some instruments and microphones had been put on the wrong place. So when Cory entered the stage, you could see something was wrong. And the fact, that the crowd wasn't that hyped (because of the acoustical circumstances) somehow broke the magic on stage I think. I'm a musician as well and maybe one of the biggest fans of Cory Henry. I watched every video of him playing, analysing and studying his music, as well as his emotional expression. And I didn't recognize him that evening. Maybe it was just me and I don't wanna say the band could have done anything better. But from what I heard in the crowd and what people wrote in the livestream chat, the audio engineering did a great job with the digital and livestream mix, but had some trouble with the live room mix. After all I'm happy anyways to have been able to see Cory live. To hear this on KZbin now, gave me chills, since it sounds completely different than I remembered it live, but I finally can enjoy the music.

Good catch, I don’t know if this was Cory’s decision to play more and talk less to have more music in video, or is it some video editor cut. Because I visited previous concert of this tour and everything from past were here: “you can dance”, “how many bodies?”... He also offers stuff from his store 😃
