corey you've taken what you did at artisan and retrofitted it with totally new angles on your trade! you have done so well and even as a non sparky viewer i really like the content (and the occasional madness!) as it doesnt feel like a case of "i am a pro... i am god! you will bow to me!" its more like "heres the job, this is what we are doing... enjoy! Such an amazing trip, thanks for taking us along, Cory. My only contact with the Shona people is slightly incongruous compared to your wonderful visit. The new vicar in our church is a young Shona woman with the voice if an angel. At her induction she had many compatriots come and sing songs in their native tongue. I was put in touch with them and they helped me learn the Shona words of a well-known hymn phonetically which was fun. At our Christmas Nine Lessons service, where I sing in the choir, we had no child available to sing the first verse of Once in Royal David's City so ahe sang it in Shone, possibly one of the most beautiful things I've heard ring out in the quiet candle-lit church. So I can also vouch for the fact that the Shona people are the sweetest kindest souls.👍🤗🙏 Edit hope youre having a very happy Christmas and have an adventurous and prosperous New Year to come, Cory. The way youve expanded your horizons is awesome, thanks for all you do, I've said it before, you're a genuinely good chap and deserve nothing but goid fortune in life..👍

Chinese inverters like that are all over the place in Africa. MUST is another popular one. Many of them come from the same OEM, with a custom brand attached.
@corymac20 күн бұрын
Is deye the OG?
@PurpleAlienPlanet20 күн бұрын
@@corymac For this one in particular, I believe so. Deye is the OEM. They have agreements with e.g. SolArk and SunSynk in the US and UK respectively for those companies to be the sole supplier of that market. Everywhere else you will see re-branded ones. It's not just Deye, there several other OEMs that do this; you can even have your own branded model if you buy 1000 or so.

Cracking last 2 videos. Those Huawei Batteries are the same ones who are rack mount in cell towers as power backup, here being reused. That inverter is manufactured by Shenzhen INVT Electric Co., Ltd, one of the many companies that exist who are in the Solar industry. Regarding the message in the last video, it is real an eye opener to many people this kind of situations. Being in China I had saw such too. Although China is an advanced country if you stay in the main manufacturing regions, as soon you go a little more inward of the country you start seeing similar stuff as you show here, where a lot is done with almost nothing (even if chinese people would say the opposite as pride itself). What I can say summarise in this small quote: "We have done so much, with so little, for so long, that now we can do anything with nothing" We should put ourselves in their feet, see how lucky we are with what we have compared with them and really give a huge thought about our life and society. Have a great end of 2024 and an even better beginning of 2025. The best for you and your loved ones.

@corymac No probs. Other thing related with your old installation of the SigEnergy system. Their system it is a rebrand of the Haier SmartCube System. So in the future that could help you in case of needing service or parts in case the original brand goes under. For Haier to go, then the country itself is done, since it is considered it the Chinese "Samsung".

The even used NH000 Blade Fuses for the batteries, rated upto 120Ka over short circuit current. LIFEPO4 can deliver ten of thousands of amps short circuit and the MEGA fuses used a lot are not safe during a shortcircuit. Seems like a pretty safe install tbh. Not bad at all.
