What UV filters do you use? I found the best one that “truly block UV light” (I use mine mostly when shooting in dusty areas) is the ZEISS Carl ZEISS T* UV Filter. Awesome video!

Great content, thanks for sharing. I shoot a lot of volleyball and I've been looking at both the 24-105 2.8 and this lense for the R5ii. One of the questions I had was focus speed and it sounds like the 24-105 might be faster. The one other win for this lense is that it is good for more than just my sports stuff. I would probably pass on the 24, 35, and 50, in the bag if I had this; I've also heard this lense is now a bit cheaper than the new 24-105 2.8

I use the Ronin RS3 Pro Gimbal. It balances well. But I typically only use this for a couple establishing shots. Rest of my gigs are hand held

It’s definitely something to pay attention to with shutter speed ect, but I feel the trade off is still worth it. Beautiful lens with a couple trade offs

The 28-70 has IS if you partnered it with R6 and R5. Canon even says so and I completely agree it does have IS

No it doesnt. This lens is an RF mount. T8i is an EF camera so they won't be compatiable

Canon 24-105 F4 is my favorite lens when first building out my lenses. You can get almost anything done with that
