Hey Corey, I’m a dude who’s training to be a therapist and wanted to say thank you for putting out good information about stuff like breathing, positive self-talk, and a bunch of other stuff like that. Young dudes especially will really benefit from hearing it from you.

The humming is similar to the sigh effect. We naturally sigh when tired, but dont think to utilise it. If youre stressed or tight and need ti relax asap, inhale and then have that "i just sat down after a long day" sigh over and over
@bigben426 ай бұрын
You can also do what’s called a double inhale, which is where you take a normal breathe and then inhale again on top of it. It’s proven to relax your system

Do you think recording and watching back footage is important for all combat sports? For example, I'm wondering about a sport such as wrestling or bjj, where you can spar significantly more because its lower impact, would you still record and watch back each round? Would you do it at all?

Man I want Cory to school Umar in certain ways and show him there is levels of immense talent at the top of the Bantam weight division. Then I need to see Cory vs O'malley! It's 2 of the highest level most diverse agile MMA fighters. *just gotta say everyone used to shit on O'malley & Umar is very good yes, but at least O'malley put on a ton of exciting performances & was active. Umar hasn't been active, lots of canceled fights, only a few fights that weren't that impressive AND now Umar is being gifted the chance to fight Cory for a guaranteed TITLE SHOT!? It really makes me go back and see that O'malley did a lot more to earn his way into the top of this stacked talented division. A lot more than umar's ever done. (does that change that I still respect Umar and he could probably hang with the top ranked fighters.. No it doesn't change that. I do respect that and him. It's just weird how the UFC does stuff like this)
