Does Cory have that anchor tattoo to imply that particular foot's/leg's grounding is really strong? If so, clever tattoo. If not, still a sweet tattoo lol.

its just not true that if their arms are longer that it takes longer for them to punch. Their arms are much closer to the target and hit way quicker

Its so much easier to get into the UFC these days. I know a local guy that got in from beating absolute cans and losing to all the legitimate competition he fought, just because he scraped a split decision win over legit competition.

After watching Buckley, admit that he beat wonder boy because of his KZbin I’m worried about Corey 😂 don’t give away too much!
@artofmartialcinemaamc53349 күн бұрын
True but if it were Prime Wonderboy I don't think it would have mattered if Wonderboy trained Buckley himself to defeat himself, Prime Thompson smokes Buckley with ease
@is43498 күн бұрын
@@artofmartialcinemaamc5334 Maybe but the current version of Buckley is elite. I wouldn’t count him out at all against Prime Wonderboy
@artofmartialcinemaamc53348 күн бұрын
@@is4349 Not saying he isn't but I don't think we've seen him against enough elite competition to say that. You think Buckley beats Prates, Shavkat, Garry, etc? Who do you think Buckley doesn't beat that are ranked above him, plus Prates & Ian Garry?

My muay Thai coach has actually been having us go through this style of movement for the past 2 weeks it's also very good for conserving energy cause it's small movement.
@ZachS-PFW7 күн бұрын
That's awesome to hear because, as an advocate of Muay Thai's efficacy (you'd have to be a fool to consider Muay Thai "ineffective"), I do acknowledge that a common downside to the typical approach of Thai style kickboxers is the lack of movement and angles. That's not all Muay Thai kickboxers, obviously. However, the way Muay Thai is scored, holding your ground aggressively is a huge factor. That seems to influence guys to disregard any sort of indirect, or asymmetrical approach. I understand that part of this is to be ready to check incoming low kicks, or otherwise block kicks that come higher. However, when other factors are involved - such as grappling in MMA - movement and angles are paramount. Simply, it is my opinion that a sort of hybrid between the footwork of boxing, and everything else in Muay Thai is optimal. Many dutch style kickboxers seem to employ this approach. That's how I perceive it anyway.
