Hi! You can slow down the speed of the video in the settings options. Otherwise, just play on the chord changes until you get more fluid with the chords.

It’s just practice. You have to go slow and then bring up the speed over time. Make sure you are 100% with the chords too. Then internalize the pattern and then add the singing.

X is basically just stopping the sound so instead of letting it play threw once you strum the key you would hold your strings (with your hand flat so is like corbaord hitting smth ig to explain)

The main thing I look for in a tutorial to make it stand out from all the other heres some chords and a strum pattern is the beat. Ukulele and guitar are rhythm instruments and 99% of tutorials don't mention the rhythm. I'm guessing this is 4/4 time, but you don't seem to do 4 bars on each note. If I'm guessing my general view is it's a poor tutorial. Yours are nice, but has the same gaps as the general offerings I see so often. PS yes I can work it out.. But that's not what I looked up a tutorial for..
