A lot of people don't realize this awesome hidden detail in this game. When you get on the bus, the guy looks at you because he's looking at the stalker behind you. Also a lot of people didnt see the stalker on the bus when it drives off. You aren't supposed to see him behind you, which is why the screen fades to black instead of allowing you to walk on the bus yourself when you enter. And why you can't look at the seat behind you when on the bus.

as an 18 year old girl who works at a coffee shop with other young adult girls, this game is kind of scary accurate to how unsettling it is to close the shop at night, they did a really great job with atmosphere. a couple times i’ve had to take out the trash to the dumpster by myself AT NIGHT (keep in mind our dumpster is a good distance from the shop, so not like this game) but it felt very similar to this game’s feel lol

To everyone scared by this, I hope you realize this is a real fear for a lot of women. I never had a stalker, but I've been harassed by men basically since puberty, and a few times I felt real danger. One time in high school while walking home alone I was followed by a man trying to get me in his car. I was relieved when he drove away only to realize he parked ahead to wait for me. I got very lucky because my neighborhood was right there and he drove away when I turned into it, but I'll never forget how fast my heart was beating. The scenarios running through my head of what might happen next and my body getting ready for a fight if I needed to. I was followed for a whole block. The total experience was maybe a few minutes, but it was terrifying. I can only imagine the mental toll experienced by people who have to feel that fear for day and weeks, maybe even months. edit: hi I had no idea this comment had so many likes! Spoilers: for people that didnt notice, there is actually two different "stalkers". the first stalker is the long tall guy with the creepy face, who we are introduced with at the beginning that we helped return his phone. we see him after we get off the bus, and also when he comes into the coffee shop once and doesnt buy anything and just sits the whole time and then leaves. the second stalker is the man in the hoodie. he is the one that creepily stands outside the store windows as we talk with the old man at the register. he also then comes in and orders pastries and a bunch of milk, and sits in the blind spot of the store and leaves the photo of us on the table. it is then revealed that HE is the one who has been living in the back of the store. so in conclusion to clear things up, the phone guy stalker, is the one that actually physically tries to attack us and depending on what ending you get, murders us; and the second stalker, hoodie dude, is the milk guy that was snapping pics of us and living in the store, but doesnt actually physically harm us. you can tell they are two different men bc 1. their faces are very different (hoodie guy is much younger looking and generally has a nicer looking face) 2. phone stalker guy and also the one that jumpsacres us at the closing sign (and eventually attacks us) is like 6'6" whereas hoodie milk guy is only around 5'6". you can tell the height difference by comparing when each walk into the cafe and walk past the bookcases by the door! 3. their clothes Anyways-just thought i'd share this since i dont think i've watched one lets player who actually came to this realization that there were two different stalkers!

My guess for why most guys bring up being stalked/harrassed, even when the subject matter is focused on women, is usually because there's seems to be less coverage spoken about it sometimes (or what feels like less acknowledgement of it happening), and it gives the sense that there's less spaces out there for guys to have their own conversations about stalking/harrassment problems. Hopefully that's something that changes a bit soon (especially like with the Carson House episode in the Fears to Fathom game), so that both guys and girls are able to have these conversations without invalidating each other.

Cory, you didn't get the "bad" ending, because every ending of this game is a bad one! You got two out of three. The only ending you didn't get was sneaking out into the parking lot via the bathroom vent and getting into your car. The stalker sneaks into the back of your car and jumps out to grab you before coming to a black screen. No matter what you do, you get a bad ending in this game! I love how this game touches on how being stalked by one man leads to thinking everyone is.
