COSMETOLOGY: MANICURE for STATE BOARD

Step- by-step class/training for beauty school students, manicurists and cosmetologists to pass the exam for cosmetology and manicuring licenses. How to do a one hand manicure, polish removal, filing, cuticle pushing, nipping, cuticle oil, massage procedure, sanitation and client protection.
Wash hands with soap and water (model and operator)
Set up SMA (Sanitary Maintenance Area)
Remove the nail polish, file and clip the nails, if necessary
Soak the nails, brush, and towel dry
Push the cuticle using cuticle remover and metal pusher
Clean the nails with a brush
Clean under nail free edge
Apply cuticle oil and massage
Apply hand cream and massage
Remove the oil and cream from nails
Apply nail polish
Clean around the nails from excess polish, if necessary
Clean up (Soiled implement container for the dirty implements, towels to the towel bag, disposable items into the trash)
