Great Coverage bro. Good to see you got a good sample. Have received a lot of complaints for the stabilizers. Had problems with mine too. The top plate is metal but the frame is plastic. This is common with like 90% of the keyboards out there. And yes, TKL is generally more expensive than their full sized brothers. The switches are still have mechanical actuation and not optical. Love your Cats!!

@mayanksh3khar3 жыл бұрын
What I did with me GK-18 was that I lubed all keycaps inside " + " shaped holes with vaseline and now the keyboard feels way more premium and has softer sound. I also had the spacebar problem where if I pressed one of the extreme ends of the space bar, the other end would pop out of the stabilizer and wouldn't register the keypress. So I applied a bit of fevikwik to the stabilizer "+" holes. Even though it is on there permanently it is now perfectly stabnilised along with vaseline. I higly recommend using vaseline to lube the keyboard. This will take your experience to another level. Also in terms of keycaps I have found these ones from HUO JI that works with RGB and are 900 INR for the 12 piece set where you get QWERASDF and the arrow keys. I'm thinking of using them on my WASD and arrow keys. The same are 1600 for the complete set. but meh 1600 INR keycaps for a 2000 keyboard some other day. The reason for WASD keys is they're made of such a material in the GK-18 is that they'll turn shiny after some time also blue shiny keyacaps among black will look cool. These are available in Blue Silver and Golden though and are all shiny. Fonts are also kinda similar so ^_^. Also am considering Redragon K585 DITI with blue switches for gaming. Any suggestions?

The key-faces are a huge dissatisfaction but apparently, we can’t replace them right now. Thanks for searching though. I have bought it and been using it for a couple of weeks now. I must admit that these switches feel great but the pressure and muscle memory thing you said is true. It’ll take some more time to get used to it. It’s fun to watch your cat-crew. Having such a crew around while you work is a great stress buster. Cats reach their peak activity level at night and that rightly justifies the 3 am party 😸. What are your suggestions can we buy it or they are some technical issue or RGB colours issue?
@TheHopelessGeek3 жыл бұрын
There is no major issues with RGB. Its just that there's a small bug at the moment with single key RGB settings, but it's just a software thing. It's being fixed soon.😀

have you tried CB gk 16 firefly with blue switches , some of my keys lost their RGB functioning else they work fine, should i buy gk 18 or reorder the same one , tell me red switches are better or the blue ones
@TheHopelessGeek2 жыл бұрын
It depends on your preference. If you like the clicky feel of the blue switches, the reds may be too smooth and silent for you. However, for gaming, red switches are the better choice as they're easy to press fast.

Does it save the rgb pattern like if I restart my PC will the rgb continue to glow in the pattern in which it was glowing before the restart?

Pandora doesn't have customisable RGB colors. That's about it. If you were just looking for the mechanical red switches, it's a good deal: amzn.to/3Kj9zV9

Hi Thanks for the video, I wanted to know how can I change the lighting to have a stable rbg lighting effect instead of the dancing and fluid RBG that comes along with this, For ex. blue for the 33% red for 33% Green for the remaining. or is flowing rbg the only option I have

Yes, with the new software, you can set per-key RGB

I don't see why. That should be a pretty good keyboard too.
@Its_ShantanuB3 жыл бұрын
@@TheHopelessGeek yeah that's a pretty good no doubt. But I have some questions, can you guide me! 1. My keyboard has clicky blue switches (should I choose outemu?) 2. Redgear comes with a rainbow light, not rgb. 3. It doesn't have any stabilizer I found these 3 cons. Although my experience is not bad. But cb gk 18 got a hype. So confused in these.
@TheHopelessGeek3 жыл бұрын
The Outemu blue version is a clicky switch and is commonly found in most budget options. The Red linear switches are a bit rare and feel superior to me. But some people have faces some issues with the keys🤷♂️ The GK18 would have the upper hand in RGB though 😎

No, individual keys cannot be mapped to a color, even though the underlying LEDs could've supported it.
