I had steelseries siberia v2 back in 2014-15 which had low bass but very good sound profile for gaming, almost like wall hack, was able to hear enemy in cs go from long distance, pushed rank with that headphone, had multiple cheaper ones later, none satisfied but my current cosmic byte europa is still descent for music with good bass. I am looking for a headphone from a week, but didnt got anything good till 4000rs which can beat the CB Euqonix Europa 7.1 unfortunately.

i faced a similar humming issue on my adcom vision 7.1 ; After an extensive search , i found a post saying that it might be the issue of the inbuilt headphone amplifier. to my surprise it was true. it had such a bad amp that when i reduced the volume on the dongle and increased the volume in my audio source (youtube, or the pc volume itself), the humming reduced. the funny thing is that the software of the adcom vision and the phobos are shockingly similar; from the 4 subdivisions to the CW and the CCW markings on the 7.1 surround. so, who knows, maybe they are just using the same components... i returned the headset and and bought an eksa e900 pro, its been a week, eksa is just waaaaaaay better

If u hear closely on mic comparison u might hear some noise on eksa E800 but the other two were picking up his breathing sound and eksa e900 didn’t pick anything like that so i would say eksa mic is better
