Carrie Bradshaw and Madonna made the cosmopolitan the most popular vodka cocktail to order at a bar for happy hour in the 1990's. But, is vodka not cool anymore? Spice up the cosmo with Serrano pepper and a splash of orange vodka to revitalize the modern classic.

Dale DeGroff, is The King Cocktail and known for putting the Cosmopolitan cocktail on the menu at the famous Rainbow Room in NYC in the early 1990's. When Madonna publicised that she loved the cocktail it was reborn into popularity and then it grew to stardom in Sex and the City when Carrie Bradshaw and crew were seen in every TV episode sipping the popular pink martini. Today we revisit the modern classic with a twist for a spicy and tangy version that men and women can enjoy.
Cosmopolitan cocktail recipe
1.5 ounces citrus vodka
.5oz cointreau
.5 oz oceanspray cranberry juice
.25 oz fresh lime juice
.25 oz simple syrup
flamed orange peel garnish
Burning Mandarin cocktail recipe
1.5 ounces orange vodka
.5 oz orange juice
.5 oz Cranberry juice
.75 ounces fresh lemon juice
.25 oz cointreau
1 muddled serrano pepper
