Not to discredit Heidi or her contribution to the group, but she was essentially a replacement and what defined the Sugababes sound was already established on One Touch, regardless of its lesser commercial success compared to the albums released featuring the line-ups with Heidi.

Three beautifully talented music icons that came from north-west London and that came together and started a journey which would lead them into early fame only to be broken up and not continue their early work until their second reunion and what was to follow. When Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan's voices and personalitirs function as one, that underlines why they get on so well. They deserve happiness and everything good and positive that comes to them. They have worked so hard and continue to work hard to get to where they are today and the three of them have already cemented their legacy in the music world and they are far from finished and certainly have a lot more to give in future. I absolutely love that they are back as the original line up PLUS I would love to have Heidi in there, too with them. I don't feel she would fit necessarily because of the different direction the group had musically while Heidi was on but then maybe would be great to see Heidi do something solo? Thinking out loud over here. It was ooooooook when Siobhan left (even though it still was hurting me, she was my favorite) but it made it great music to still listen to with Heidi. Then when they started removing more of the original girls it just went too far and I did not listen/like the music. The ideal mix for me would be the 3 original girls and Heidi IF the music could fit them all and Gosh they are all so unique and that would be a task! Much love to the girls, let's do this new era! We're definitely here for it. I still have their earlier albums - and I had Siobhan's first album that she did when she left, too - the imagery was stunning as well as the sound!
