Just got one. I used to pressure cook many years ago and HATED it! But that was in the old days. On top of a stove with the old cookers that had the shaker rattle top. Where you could blow up your kitchen with them and had to put them in the sink and run water on it to release the pressure.

The rice paddle comes with all rice cookers and its design means you can scoop up rice and it’s less likely to stick to the spoon. It also won’t scratch the pan. I don’t know about the standing part - maybe it’s got a base so it can stand?

Yes, it’s a standing rice paddle because it will stand up on its end.

I have been sous viding as much food as I can since I bought my first multicooker 6+ years ago. (I slow cook like you did, directly without a bag or water, but I like being able to select time and temperature depending on what I am cooking, so I call it "sous vide" because it's the function we usually use on these devices, now I have 2 instant pots with sous vide function, the new model is awesome with handles on the internal pan and stainless steel compatible with induction, much faster to pre fry onion or broil etc). Teflon is better to clean after though, I might get an accessory when they release a teflon version.

I've just ordered this can't wait to use it. I've used the old 5litre one, hopefully this one is good too 😊

I use my rice paddle all the time. It's just a nice tool for scooping out your cooked rice.

You’re a legend. Watch your videos every night. I want that mixer you reviewed! What a tough price tag though. One day.

Hi Not sure if you'll know the answer to this, hit how does it compare size wise to the Ninja 15 in 1? If have that but find it a bit big for say chilli or bolognese, so thought this might be a better size for 2 people. Thanks.

Hello, when slow cooking, do you have to add water / stock to the process before cooking?
@lords-electrical Жыл бұрын
Not always no, it really depends on what you are cooking. If it is a big joint like pork or beef, personally i don't add any liquid as it has enough moisture in it to start with anyway.

I indicate for you to watch any Japanese doing rice in their rice cooker and you will see how they use the paddle
