There's no reason it shouldnt work on the PETG before forming, the only concern would be the tint becoming lighter and uneven as the plastic is stretched over the form.

A Theory I had just come up with apon your comment (meaning I didn't do research) is that by dyeing one part of a Visor with one color and masking everything off, you will have one section that is tinted. Rinse and repeat (dont forget to mask or else color and opacity overlay will ruin the bike visor) and there you have it, multi color visor. But hey, that's just a Theory, A Project Theory! EDIT: Oh god I'm 4 years late. Well, hope you had good luck on whatever you were doing.

it's made by vacuum forming a piece of petg. you need a mold and a vacuum former for that

@@atherofthevoid ehh it really depends. The mold doesn't have to be all that complicated so you could make that yourself pretty easily. As for the former, you could buy one, but you could also build one. It wouldn't be the best obviously, but it can be pretty alright. There are quite a few tutorials on how to build them

i would recommend finding a small suit maker for the job, as kaiborg studios is ridiculously expensive, and has been known to produce low quality or fragile pieces.

@@PAdragons I think you would need to order intensifier separately, although a reputable company may sell the product alongside PETG. Depending on what the manufacturer generally sells the plastic for, it may be sold alongside dyes. I’m sure a cosplay company would sell intensifier.
