It would also make more sense to add 2mm EVA foam at the edges to make it more sturdy if you want to use it day to day

2mm wouldn't really add too much stability as it is really thin but you can you can always do it to your own =]

You can carry small weighted objects but I would recommend changing the straps from foam to nylon to support more weight

What glue do you use for this/ how do you clean the paint brush after use so the bristles don’t stick together?

Contact cement glue. Small bottles have a brush built into the cap. The brush needs to be submerged into the glue when not in use or it will dry out.

You can make it however you want with whatever tools but results may vary

Is it suitable to store in heavy objects?

this is just EVA foam and would only hold light weight items. For heavier items you would need to reinforce it and use nylon straps instead of EVA foam

It was intended as a prop, not a functional backpack so I assume some small stuff may not be a problem but heavy things like a book might rip it eventually.

Grey is generally high density black is low.
