Chris! Think like a pirate, yarrr! If your outfit isn't working, alter it to where it works for ye! Tear off the buckles on one side of the chest plate & replace it with something easier, maybe a leather strap & loop to tie it to! Great cosplay, keep up the amazing work! :)

Chris, I would say incorporate some Chain Mail into the suit somehow, but I heard Chain Mail especially if it's for an entire torso is super heavy. So maybe, add some onto the boots, or belt? Oh and by the way congrats on the Bronze Play Button, the start is always the hardest, but now since you're somewhat well known the 1 million mark will be so much easier.

I like how the collar bent down looks almost like a Dracula style collar, making him look a bit more menacing and mythical to those who dare face him on the high seas. Copper, when exposed to salt water, turns sort of a greenish colour called verdigris. If you want to have an authentic look to your costume then you might want to add some light green paint to the toe plates on the boots. Congrats on your 100,000 subs!
