If companies are gonna put fragrance in products they should at least try to make it smell really good, right? I haven't bought any products with fragrance (on purpose) in like three years but when I did use fragranced products in my routine I can't think of a single product where I thought: "god, this smells amazing!", but I have used fragranced products where the intensity of the scent would give me headaches and make me nauseous - and I've used fragrance free products where I really enjoyed the smell, plant extracts like mugwort, liquorice root and green tea smell wonderful

I totally agree! If they MUST use fragrance, make it smell clean, spa like or fruity/vanilla. I don't understand why these companies think we actually enjoy rubbing perfume all over our face! My Micellar water has licorice root in it and smells like licorice. Why can't they use that? It's also great for the skin.

Hi Sarah thanks for the warning as it's a big pass due to fragrance. Cosrx cleansers don't work for me really - even the popular low ph one as I'm really dry/sensitive. I like their other snail products = especially the essence. What a disappointment. The only cleanser I've really liked from K beauty is the laneige cream skin cleanser - it's really gentle. I do like the purito oil cleanser and the new klairs unscented light oil cleanser (as first step cleansers for makeup removal), but I don't really like foaming cleansers or gel cleansers without a huge proportion of hydrating/moisturising ingredients. I like cleansing milks better than the gels. For those that are not as dry/sensitive as me, gel cleansers can be amazing and oilier skin often loves a foam. it's just that I need something super gentle tbh. Oh well it saved me money and best wishes.

Definitely will do, still testing it out, although my skin isn't loving it so far. It seems to be a bit more drying than I expected with a snail mucin product. Gotta stick it out a few more weeks!

Isn't the dryness because of the pH and not because there was fragrance? If the overall formula is too harsh the presence of fragrance doesn't even count... I've used plenty of cleansers that have fragrance but they at least were gentle. I do think that there's no point in adding fragrance components to skincare since there are so many raw materials that smell good but don't irritate the skin or be irritating by smelling too much🤷🏼‍♀️ By the way, did they claim that this cleanser is supposed to be gentle, for dry skin or for sensitive skin? If not, they just caused false image of gentleness by branding this item under the snail line.

I have super oily skin. But after watching this video I will NOT be buying the Snail Mucin Gel Cleanser. I hate face washes that leave me feeling tight or dry. My face just tries to make even more oil.

Oh my gosh I didn’t know they were coming o with this and I would’ve been so excited, but then I heard you say the “f” word 😳 I also use at least one of their Snail mucin products everyday and I love that most of their products don’t have fragrance in it so now I’m super sad they included scent in this! They've been so hit or miss lately. Their new vitamin c serum is great, the new retinol serum... not so much. I hate when brands become hit or miss, you just never know what you are getting until you try it out...

Aw no, that's so disappointing! I use their products day and night and thought this would be a slam dunk. You know what I've discovered recently 're cleansing? That for MY super dry, sensitive, dehydrated, eczema prone skin, LESS is more. Cleansing really messes with my skin barrier, which is already impaired. I stopped my morning cleanse and use a soothing Micellar water instead. At night, I only double cleanse if I'm wearing makeup, which isn't that often recently. Cleansing is my least fave skincare step, and besides cleansing balms, the only cleanser that really knocked my socks off was the Pyunkang Yul Low pH Pore Deep Cleansing Foam ($8.50/100 mls). The tiniest amount gives you this rich foam that is actually FUN to use. It feels good on the skin, rinsed clean, and leaves skin super soft, glowing and not tight.
