@KrishnaRSampath4 ай бұрын
@@niftythegoblin It wasnt yet canon, I believe, but your point is totally valid anyway and kind of makes me wonder about why some things are "canon" -- maybe it would be better if there were no established canon and any artist/writer could pitch a story set in a different universe, where Superman is a Communist ("Red Son") or Barman grows old ("Batman: Beyond"; also "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns"), or Superman is a vegetarian teenager ("Superman: irthright"), or where Magento founds the X-Men ("Age of Apoclypse")? I actually liked all of the above, and especially "Age of Apocalypse" -- Wolvie/Jean and Cyc's one-eyed backstab to Sinister to defect to the "Good Guys" at the end atands out -- and I LOVED Nightcrawler's darker/murderous side come out as a rescuer of slaves and an extinguishing sword against slavers' throats! Such a twist on one of my favorite characters -- a pious pacifist who nevertheless idolizes swashbuckling rogues like Robin Hood! Brilliant. Alternative Explanation: I guess they assume Wolverine is so hardcore that he just doesn't give a damn about the t earing of his skin, cause his wounds heal up anyway? Also maybe that's why he's so grouchy all the time?

My favorite classic-Wolverine moment is at the end of the Nightcrawler episode when he's in a church praying to God. 😢 ❤ It's such a tender moment! 🥹
