I'm not sure, the rules keep changing. Mine was 5 years ago, I'll tell you to trust the official embassy websites rather than my videos on any matter.

If the student is diabetic,will the health insurance cover his medication or should he pay the medication?
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany6 жыл бұрын
Any and every problem - preexisting or not, shall be treated with the best possible resources. You shall barely pay anything for the medicines, the medical insurance shall take care of it. You don't need to declare to your potential employers about your condition, and no one shall ever ask. Welcome to a good universal healthcare system!

Hey man, You've got some Very informative content. I just wanted to know if are there any scholarships available if one cant afford expenses involved. Both merit and need based!?
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany6 жыл бұрын
Hi, While there are some scholarships for students with high grades, it is mostly not part of the system as Germany has nearly no tuition fee for studies, and has a big DAAD Erasmus program through which it helps students. If students need extra money, as most of them do, they earn it. Having said that, the few scholarships that ARE available depend on your course, and also unfortunately on your religion and gender. Christians have a few more scholarships than other religions, and girls have a few more scholarships than guys. STEM barely has any scholarships, but some arts/agriculture/architecture programs have a few.

Did you cooked on your own? If yes how did you managed studies and cooking? Any tips?
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany6 жыл бұрын
XYZZ 8767 Yes, we cooked on our own but a lot of the time also we ate outside. When we used to study in the library for the whole day, we would take a break for dinner and eat somewhere and then go back to studying. Otherwise if you're short for time, you make whatever is the quickest, like cereals or eggs or frozen food etc. If you're one to cook bigger meals then maybe make one that will last you a few days. It's not really that big of an issue, maybe just some planning on what to buy when you're at the supermarket.

Admission, Job and Life in Germany You ate outside most of the times then how is the quality of food? Wont eating outside everyday cause health issues?
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany6 жыл бұрын
XYZZ 8767 There are many many healthy options outside also. Some people cooked from home and brought to library in a plastic box so they wouldn't have to eat out. It really depends on your personal preferences. And btw we are completely healthy. Also, we ate outside a lot of the time, but not most of the times. There's a difference.

Hey Vikrant. I got the admit in CAME RWTH just a few days ago. Admission related documents mentioned 4500 euros for each semester (4 sems). Then what about the extra semesters we take as it practically takes atleast 5 sems. How much do we need to pay to the University for the extra sems. Can you please clarify?
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany5 жыл бұрын
The rules might have changed, but when I was studying, it was around 500 euros each semester.
@monkaZETTA3 жыл бұрын
5 sems? It takes 6 sems atleast.

Hello vikrant is it possible to increase the length of job search visa is there is any chance to extend it after ms...
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany6 жыл бұрын
After MS in Germany, you get 18 months of job search Visa. You don't get to extend that if you can't find a job after 18 months of finishing your masters.

Go on wg-gesucht.de and start applying. Write in detail about yourself, and apply to each post individually (you can use a general format, and add a couple of lines). Make it such that living with you seems awesome, and you shall find a room. There are also facebook groups where you can apply for rooms, or ask for help. AISA is one such group by Indians, but there are many others too. Finding rooms in AachEn is very tough, so best of luck! And congrats!

Hello brother, i just wanted to ask you about MAWISTA health insurance..is it valid for the Rwth Aachen university?
@AdmissionJobandLifeinGermany6 жыл бұрын
Hahaha. KZbin sensored this comment as spam 🤣 Anyway, yes. Mawista is a health insurance company, it is valid everywhere, and anyway the university has nothing to do with it.
