I spent 3 months in Albania in 2019, my average spend was about £35/day, or €38, but I was eating and drinking (alcohol) out for every single meal, also including rent, 95% of time which included single bedroom private apartments around on average £15/€16.

Dany a couple of Tips, You mention the rent, of course you are renting short term. But if you plan for living regular rent is about 150- 200EUR. 450Eur you will pay only in central locations in Tirana. You don't look a fish guy but you should mention that sea food is really cheap and You are right you shroud stick to seasonal fruits and vegetables. Dont eat to much suflaki... not healthy Also maybe because you bought with the Sim card. You can find cheaper offers for Mobile internet and such. They start at 4EUR

It is certainty not a racist country. Not two many colored people, so locals mostly old people will give you a curious look, this might make you uncomfortable. It is safe country in general. I see young ladies walking in the street even in early hours of the morning. But like many places in the world: Do not go to stupid places, in stupid hours, with stupid people doing stupid stuff... :)

I’m from USA and am in the process of planning a trip to Tirana in January for 2 weeks (hopefully covid isn’t as bad then) so I’d love as much info as possible I’ll be traveling alone just wanna know what to do and what not to do there? ​@@TheControlledOpposition Would not recommend January. Tirana is humid and cold. Not much to do in the beach. Almost everything closed. The best time would be May-June. You can taste the bars in Tirana and the beach in the south.
