Rent in Greece is way cheaper, even though prices have recently gone up. You can definitely find something with $400-600. Wifi is not bad, maybe the person who had your airbnb was paying for a low speed network?

Well Athens isn’t a new city is quite old like Rome but it has some new architecture elements in the neighborhoods like concrete buildings etc! Also you should have mentioned water! Like in Europe 0.5L bottle of water costs 4€ and higher but in Greece costs around 50 cents and even 30 cents!

Athens is actually one of the oldest cities in Europe. Was founded in 508 BC, over 3,000 years ago.

Rent in nice areas of Athens I have never paid more than 400 euros. Some these prices you are paying are way to expensive and never saw them here unless it's in a tourist spot. You getting got for those prices. Way overpriced.

How do you find places to live? I looked on sites but they're all super touristy apartments and I want like an actual house that a person would live in if u get me

Nice vlog, but lots of echo and hard to listen for more than 5 mins. Think a good mic would do wonders.

You're paying too much, they're taking advantage of you and thanks to people like you, who accept getting scammed, locals are struggling.

Thank God people in Greece are not on their laptops when they go to cafes. They have a social life. And Athens is super old😕

Would you think 1000 euros a month with 300 for rent is enough for 1 person in Athens?

Yeah it's ok i guess . If you cook, it's pretty fine. But that depends on what kind of lifestyle you want
